Maybe Germany has not changed much.

I was an exchange student to Germany in 1977. Went to school there. One fellow student showed me how Hitler could have won ww2.

Makes ya think a little. You would think Germans would distance themselves from their participation in the Holocaust, guess not.

You guys are ridiculous. Iran's stance on America is the way it is because most of the middle East have been in war with the US on and off for years, and I applaud Iran for saying no. Likewise, I applaud Germany for being sensible in the recent situations and looking to make peace with perhaps the only nation in the middle east to have escaped the utter destruction of the region in the last 10 or 15 years.

By making peace with Iran, Germany takes a step towards Europe's amicability with the middle eastern nations. I hope the rest of Europe follows suit and that we may come to the end of all this utterly barbaric nonsense, because America's government are useless and looking to them to create stability is absolutely futile.

The world needs new leaders and bold new ways of approaching situations. The Germans, in this act, have given indication that they are willing to talk and reach fair agreement rather than drop bombs.

As for the word Holocaust, many of you Americans think the word 'German' is synonymous with it. That's partly why the Germans don't generally like you. Educate yourself.

And I suppose the Shah was equivalent to ISIS in your eyes, seeing he was a friend to the US and Israel?

And yeah, Hitler COULD have won the war (strategically speaking), but he didn't...
THANK GOD.
