[h=3]Rev. Graham to Boehner: 'Shame On You!' Calling Cruz 'Lucifer' Is 'Embarrassment To Our Nation'

[/h]

Rev. Franklin Graham (BGEA). In reaction to former House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) publicly insulting Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) by calling him "Lucifer in the flesh" and a "miserable son of a b----," evangelist Franklin Graham said "shame on you!" to Boehner, and added that his vulgar comments were "beneath the public office" he was elected to hold and an "embarrassment" to the nation. In an April 29 post on Facebook, Rev. Graham wrote, "Former Speaker of the House John Boehner shame on you! You had no business calling Ted Cruz 'Lucifer in the flesh'—this is an embarrassment. And it’s an embarrassment to our nation." "Then lowering yourself further by calling him a SOB?" said Graham. "I’m ...Read more

It should be noted, that neither Boehner, nor King have had a problem working with the likes of Clinton (while in the Senate), Reid, Pelosi and other Socialist Liberals during their time in Office.

Neither have had a problem with continuing to perpetuate the ever rising Budged Deficit, and the enormous National Debt, and have done nothing to curtail the actions of Obama.

CRUZ RESPONDS

"When John Boehner calls me Lucifer, he's not directing that at me. He's directing that at you," he said, alluding to his conservative supporters.
"What Boehner is angry with me for is standing with the American people, is energizing and encouraging House conservatives to stand with the American people and actually honor the commitments we have made," he said.

Shame on Graham for siding with a snake like Cruz who has learned the slippery delivery of "Religious Jargon" he enchants so many people with.

Boehner is no longer in public office. He's retired. And I'd much rather know how he really feels about Cruz instead of him trying to sugar-coat it or be politically correct.

Boehner being a good Catholic boy ought to know better than to go about slandering Lucifer like that.

The real shame is that all the pseudo Christians will find themselves standing before the Great White Throne of God on judgment day and be cast into the lake of fire.

Remember the live footage when Boehner got all emotional with seeing the Pope? I was pretty disgusted myself...

Boehner having been a bartender I wonder if he broke out the good scotch and the Cubans for the pope? Off camera of course.

Being against a thing doesn't mean Graham was for something else. Graham was critical of Boehner for not treating his (emeritus) position as speaker with dignity. He never criticized Boehner for his feelings toward Cruz nor mentioned any personal alliance with Cruz either.

It seems from many of your posts you have a real knack for deciding who shall be cast into the lake of fire and who won't. I believe I stand with Boehner being happy that it's notuptoyou.

Joh 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

What would you really like to say? Do you understand the gospel?

What I would really like to say is what I said. I've noticed, when reading the bdf and other forums that you claim that this person and that, without knowing much about them or what they might or might not believe or anything in particular about their life, are going to be cast into the lake of fire - it seems to be your MO.

Going to weigh in and say...
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
- Matthew 7:16-23

Based on this - is calling anyone an SOB and lucifer bearing good fruit? Is excessive drinking and smoking? Is praising the Pope and the Church of the false Christ of Rome? Is lying to your voters and making false promises? No, and that's not judging unrighteous judgment that's just the facts. Is Cruz a great guy? No, I don't think anyone of them are perfect. In this election I would say they are all corrupt. But, that doesn't mean we go around calling them all obscenities.

But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. - Colossians 3:8

Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

If the testimony of one is not that they are saved by grace and their witness does not testify to the simple gospel of salvation by grace then why lead them to believe they will be judged differently than what the bible teaches?

Ac 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

I guess my answer is that if the testimony of one is not that they are saved by grace, then why judge them with condemnation when your judgement testifies to an absence of grace? James 2:13 For judgement is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgement.
