I've been a pastor's wife and what annoyed me to no end was the double standard. A member cannot say when they are too lazy to pray that the pastor has to pray or walk in whatever clothes and make demands towards the pastor or his wife. Well they can but I don't care lol. Now that I'm just a member I shouldn't care anymore? It's church culture. I went to Canada and a guy preached in jeans. I was so not used to it but it made me think: yeah why not?
First church where I got saved the worship leader who was on fire for God left because they demanded he'd wear a tie. I had to wear a dress. Borrowed one from my mom. Didn't even have one. That's religion. I like those hippy churches better tbh.

My pastor wears jeans, and a suit jacket without a tie except on very special occasions

Thats your interpretation of the Scriptures. I believe he was talking to that church and those women who were new to the church. Before that he talks about church order. The women were yelling out questions,they were out of order. So they were told to go home and ask their husbands. Later it speaks of women prophesying in the service. So if they were suppose to shut up,why are they allowed to speak then? No wanting of cake here,thanks.

No straw at all. That is exactly what many rapists claim.... "I did it because she dressed the way she did." And we will not accept that lame excuse there, why should we, here? The way we judge the appearance of another (when not a bit of "skin" is tempting anyone) is our problem. but we want to make it hers.

Based on your picture it was natural to assume that is what you were inferring.

There was no natural reason for anyone to assume anything about prostitutes based on the picture I posted. That clearly came from Kayla's mind and yet she blames me for it, saying I inferred it when I had not. If you cannot see this and it is clear you cannot then why do you think you have any right to try to mediate this? In the interest of intellectual honesty I never brought up her attire and it was not the intent of the thread. I did mention that maybe the way she dresses is a symptom of a wretched heart. I would guess she has had plastic surgery but I don't know that for sure. I also mentioned that people like her and hinn who take advantage of people ticks me off because the charlatans did it to my grandparents. And for the record, I don't really care how people dress or if they drink or if they smoke dope or if they go on dates with Pamela Anderson all by themselves incessantly. While you're up there in your high and mighty cloud willie say hi to the archangel flavious for me.

Oh please man. Go worry about yourself. If I wear wide jeans I look like a guy. Since all the stupid threads here I had to buy a longer thing so they cant see the butt I dont have and I cant even buy clothes, got em from a collegue who didnt fit em anymore. Yeah its time to leave. I'll only post in singles from now on.
