I'm really interested in how God will get rid of the Dome of the Rock to clear the way for building the third temple!

yeah me too, I think the gaza strip war might be a step forward. in any case apparently there is some space to build a temple on temple mount... there is certainty space to build a tabernacle...there are also digs in a parking lot where the previous temple might be... see VCO thread on the third temple.

we will know soon i think.

Blessings

Temple was not on the "temple mount" but beside it.
The temple mount was the Roman garrison.
The Jews can build any building they wish anywhere they wish but God will not be there so there will be nothing holy about it.

yes I tend to agree, the real location seem to be a bit away from temple mount, @VCO had a good thread on it and I leaded a lot from it.

That is incorrect and there are also a lot of theories about the Temple Mount contradicting each other. But according to Wikipedia "The Antonia Fortress (Aramaic: קצטרא דאנטוניה)[a] was a citadel built by Herod the Great and named for Herod's patron Mark Antony, as a fortress whose chief function was to protect the Second Temple. It was built in Jerusalem at the eastern end of the Second Wall, at the north-western corner of the Temple Mount.

So in fact it not directly on the Temple Mount.

Wikipedia is not always a reliable source.
However, we can't conclude Nehemiah's claim is wrong, or refuted, simply because we question his source.
At most, it show's his claim requires better evidence for his claim to be strong.

It's easy enough for either party to strengthen their case by presenting better evidence.

Alright, I'll go away now.
Have a great week everyone.
