I heard that Iranian Republican Guards are leading the charge in Iraq to rekate Tikrit......I have also heard this could lead to a wider war in the Middle East......Have any of you heard this about the Iranian military?

When the first Google entry regarding the story is from InfoWars.com, I tend to move on to the next item. In other words, as my British friends would say, "Not bloody likely."

Fox news was reporting that and that the US coalition was sitting out the battle for Tikrit because of it. We are to rejoin the fight when the forces move toward Mosul.

Actually its the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. and they been on the ground in both Iraq and Syria for awhile now.

As quoted below...I did not hear it from info wars....I heard second hand from my brother who heard it on Fox News...I am currently in Australia and do not have access to my own resources so i could not confirm and or reject it as bull (malarky) haha thanks i appreciate it

Apparently, the only Republican Guard in Iraq for this operation is a twice-labeled terrorist general who commands the Quds Force of the Republican Guard, Ghasem Soleimani. And we're sitting this one out. How brilliant a leadership decision for our idiot-in-chief!
