This would be good if it meant the end of ISIS, but even if Baghdadi was killed, ISIS is likely to go on. The real threat will likely come from Turkey and their newly elected President. This guy Erdogan, creeps me out!! Even Obama won't deal with him. Keep your eye on this guy, he could be the Man of Sin (AKA AntiChrist as many call him). Everything about him matches Daniel's description of the King of the North.

He creeps you out? Well with that brilliant logic and incisive political analysis how could we ever disagree with your conclusions!?

There's nothing to rejoice about with the death of the leader of ISIS, because it only incites more ferocious opposition from a newer leader.

You can't kill a growing anti-Western ideology by bombing the regions wherein it grows. All that will do is catalyze the increase in violence.

I guess calling thew new turkish guy antichrist is better than falling for the old 'current president' of the us is the antichrist, but not by much.

I didn't say he was the AntiChrist, I said he could be the Man of Sin. Everything about him fits. But what do I know, I've only been studying prophesy longer than you've been alive.

This is the question I would ask;
Did they actually kill the ISIS leader, or just the one who has been in the open that has stated that he is acting on behalf of the real leader who is hiding in a cave somewhere?

Paul calls him, THE MAN OF SIN. Paul also tells us that this man, opposes and exalts himself above everything called God, or that is worshiped. He sits as God, in the Temple of God showing himself that he is GOD. He is AKA the LAWLESS ONE who does the works of Satan. He has power, does signs and lying wonders to deceive people, those that perish.

Daniel calls him, THE KING FROM THE NORTH. Turkey is north of Israel for those too young to read a map. He will speak blasphemies against the true God. But he will not acknowledge the true God or the God of his fathers (ALLAH) or any God because he places himself above them all. Instead he will honor the god of fortresses (military strength) and gold, silver, precious stones and wealth. He will advance the glory of a foreign god. He will fight against other Arabs, some he defeats. He will destroy MECCA, take over Egypt.

We know that there were 7 BEAST kingdoms, the 7th was the Ottoman Empire (modern Turkey), this empire fell in 1922. Thus it was mortally wounded, but lived. It is now the 8th but is of the 7th and must continue a short time. The Little Horn, is the Man of Sin. This horn comes from modern day Turkey.

If you study this new Turkish President, you will see many of these same traits. I'm not going to spoon feed the ignorant and rude so you can study it for yourself.

The one who sits in Gods dominion, falsely, means any representation if God that is false. Its a spiritual truth relevant to the individual. The King above is the governing force of man, by which thoughts follow. A corrupt image of God makes for a corrupt mind and a corrupt man.

When Daniel says 'he sits on the throne of God', he is talking about a false image of God making home in the individuals mind.

Anybody, and I mean anybody, who holds a false image of God in their minds (anybody who believes that God places more more value in fortresses than peace, in gold and silver than in charity, in wealth than in humility) is by their very thoughts 'anti' Christ.

The bible, I believe, because of personal recognitions like this, is a collection of messages for inner growth, personal faith, individual revelation, mental rebirth, not a blueprint for objective events.

There's no fight with others, there's only a fight with oneself.

Do either of these have anything to do with Baghdadi's condition and the events surrounding it? Thanks in advance for your response.

You have spiritualized everything away. Some don't spiritualize anything, taking everything literally and some spiritualize everything, taking nothing literally. I guess you fall into the latter category. The correct approach is in the middle. Knowing what to spiritualize and what to take literally is the key to prophesy and understanding.

You have to know how to read the spiritual sign posts. The Man of Sin is literal. He will come and do those things spoken of by Paul, Daniel, John and Jeremiah. Right now the best fit alive today on the planet is the new Pres from Turkey. He fits a number of traits and nothing rules him out at this time.

Not directly, no. Indirectly it could have a lot to do with it. Turkey will lead the Northern alliance of Arab states/entities. ISIS could become part of this alliance with Turkey. There will be ten horns (leaders) who don't have kingdoms but will receive authority for one hour with the Turkish led Beast to attack and destroy Mecca. Given that ISIS brand of Islam is far more radical than the moderate Arab states, I do think ISIS could play a big part in this. They are already killing far more Arabs than Christians.

The nature of yours and Human's discussion should be in Bible Discussion Forum. Here is for current News Events.
But, oh well..

2 Peter 3:1This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
