Not really a good point. Sure, on the surface it seems valid. But going deeper it's a flawed logic.

Extremists are a heavily armed, extremely violent group of trained people willing to kill, torture and even blow themselves up to forward their cause. Or to stop anyone who gets in their way. The moderates are likely made of of average people, probably not well fed or educated or trained, let alone well armed. Do not have the same violent natures required to fend off aggressive people who will make bombs out of their own bodies.
The moderates are not as mentally prepared for the risks of the fight such as fearing death, being injured, captured and tortured. The extremists are eager to face the risks, and also have less to fear from a group of moderates.. Mentality plays a big part in such things.

Put 10 people in a room, one has a gun. The majority of the time everyone will obey the one gunman, not mob him.

Many times crimes done out in the open are not interfered with because everyone thinks someone else will step in. So if no one else is stepping in, then they don't feel it's their place to either. Women have been raped openly in public as people walked by and no one tried to stop it. All because they felt it was someone else's responsibility.

So a little study on how humans actually do behave shoots down this little meme.

Think like the french did in WWII....Not ALL were French Underground, Yet, even when tortured by the "nazi's", they did not reveal the underground to them.

Kinda gives cause to ponder a why there is not such a thing within Christianity?...Yes?

Quote "Kinda gives cause to ponder a why there is not such a thing within Christianity?"

Ahh but there is! And has been down through history. Many have been martyred for their faith and sit in prisons today.

Yes I think Ugly makes a good point. A lot of people don't act even though they should and it has always been the case. Bad things happen because good men do nothing. Until it affects them or someone they love people do not typically fight

However although this applies to those being oppressed in areas controlled by such organisations as Daish (IS), this does not apply to those in the West who have the freedom to speak out. Daish will kill who ever does not agree with their interpretation of Islam.

my complaint about moderates is, they do not even acknoldege radicals are bad,

knowing our government, if House Resolution 569 becomes law,

it could mean [any Muslim] badmouthing can be prosecuted, even radical muslims actions

House Dems [trying] To Implement First Sharia Law!
http://christianchat.com/christian-...e-dems-strike-implement-first-sharia-law.html

Actually, some do, but when they do, they are still demonized for being Muslim. I have a thread here on one of them.

I'm more amazed with our liberal medias defense of Islam. If Islam took over our government they would swiftly irradicate the liberal class FIRST!

I do not believe there is any difference between moderate muslims and the radical ones. If they had to choose between living with a Christian verses a radical muslim guess who would lose out?? Any teaching originating from hell is doomed to personify it ultimately. Anyone believing islam is peaceful couldn't possibly believe in a devil

I can't agree with that simply because many, many of them have chosen to live apart from radical Islamic extremist. They ARE ALSO being killed by the extremist, and THEY KNOW that.

ISIS and the other crazies have killed far more Muslims than they have Christians.
