^ a perfect example Vigilant_Warrior. Not a clue what the actual outcomes are. Reality is going to teach them, however.

We'll be in our twilight years by then. You'll be in your nineties. Find a nice safe place deep in rural hometown USA well stocked with everything you need, zero debt, and access to a decent rural hospital close by. You can watch the smoke of the rioters on your television as severe socio-economic problems finally grip a disparate fragmented nation chalk full of competing and fighting groups while sipping a cup of hot chocolate... lol.
But you guys are silly; if anything, the country has gotten better over the last hundred years, not been in a decline as Ageofknowledge asserts. It's become a country where women, black people, disabled individuals, and others have been more integrated into society. Every era has their knee-jerk conservatives espousing that society is collapsing and how immigrants are degrading and debasing our values and what not, yet it is becoming more tolerant and developing at an accelerated rate.

Well, the issues discussed had nothing to do with the Great Recession and the conditions that resulted therefrom. I'm also not sure how you can forecast economic conditions decades and decades into the future.

Clinton cash questions over Russian deal - BBC News

Mr Clinton was paid "more than $100m for speeches between 2001 and 2013", the Post notes, including "at least" $26m by groups that also donated to the Clinton Foundation, such as financial firms often considered villains on the populist left, like Goldman Sachs and CitiGroup.

looks like there kids will not be bothered about money problems, etc

and an other thing that is surprising is the amount of money that is in usa politicians campaign funds.

He had not been convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor at the time his application was approved, which are part of the requirements.
He was a known gang member, even before the murder charges were filed. The Constitution requires visa and green card applicants be people of good moral standing, not thugs, criminals, and murderers.

There will undoubtedly be future criminals that are spared deportation by this program, but they'll only be an extremely small minority (this policy applies to roughly 1.7 million people), and first generation immigrants commit crimes at lower rates than the general population anyhow.
So if the policies only let a few thugs, criminals, and murderers in, no big deal, right? That's a pathetic argument, and I'd be ashamed to present one similar to it to justify the actions of a conservative.

It was a policy designed to allow undocumented migrants who came here before the age of sixteen and had attained an education here (and presumably work and/or go to college) to get a deportation deferral to allow them to continue contributing to our society while we iron out legislation that would lead them to acquiring citizenship.
While there needs to be a program to deal with illegals who were brought here illegally by illegally immigrating parents because they were minor children, this executive action Obama has taken to create five million new (liberal) citizens is an illegal usurpation of congressional powers delegated by the Constitution. He can claim it is merely "deferred prosecution" all he wants. The facts are that the order is sweepingly comprehensive in undermining legislative requirements for citizenship. Only Congress has the right under our Constitution to establish legal methods for issuing visas and green cards, and establishing avenues for immigrants to take to citizenship.

The arrogance and utter disregard Obama shows for laws and the Constitution totally disqualify him from the office he holds. And it appears this "defense" you have posted of his acts makes you one of the liberal tools, witting or unwitting, I spoke of in post # 17.

No offense, Royal, but it is off topic, and there's already a thread on this: 'Clinton Cash' hitting book stores in May; Will it upend Hillary's campaign?

Look the man is not perfect as nobody is but why do you constantly keep up with the negativity ???

You are suppose to be a behavior therapist yet you constantly show bad behavior on your own part by constantly doing nothing but demeaning threads pointing out another's flaws. Start an edifying thread for once !!!

Oh and not an Obama supporter but did you know they just did a poll and according to it he was compared to Reagan, Bush, and Clinton on approval rating at this point in their presidencies. Only Clinton had a better approval rating then Obama at this point.
When 47 million able-working-people are on the government dole, approval ratings will be skewed.

Under the guidelines of the program, I'm not sure what more could have been done here. He had not been convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor at the time his application was approved, which are part of the requirements. The legislation has long ago been ironed out, its called The Constitution of the United States of America, and obama wipes his rear end with it every single day. But like AgeofKnowledge has already pointed out, you're going to learn the very hard way.

I "liked" this post not because I'm happy about it, but because I agree with it. Every single liberal in America is being indoctrinated to parrot the progressive line, demean those who see it for what it is and speak out, and deny there is anything wrong, untoward, or out of step with our Constitution and the separation of powers therein delegated.

Many of them don't even know they're being used this way. They simply mouth what their leaders have said, accepting it's truth and authority without even stopping for the briefest of moments to question it.

Many others know what they are doing, but believe the doctrine behind the rhetoric is "consistent" with American values, even when confronted with evidence that it is not.

And still others not only know what they are doing, but they are also dedicated to destroying our country because their party and the sinister movement that has seized control of it is so dedicated.

We have already lost. There is no way to regain what our country once was. It has taken 100 years of insidious creeping evil insinuating itself into our political parties, our government, and now our mindset as citizens. The United States is no more, except in name, and in a surprisingly short time, that name will not be worthy of saying in conjunction with the concept of God, country, duty, and honor.

I would take time to weep for us, but we do not have that luxury. Instead, we need to prepare for the coming darkness before we are rescued from this very nearly dead world by the trumpets of the angels and the rapture by Christ.

"We have already lost. There is no way to regain what our country once was."

Sadly, I agree. I've been secretly grieving for what was. But in that same thought, I'm reminded of what must come to pass in order that He might make all things New.

However, I'm not going down without a fight. I will hand over NOTHING willingly!

Reminds me of this...

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rage at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Socio-economic collapses are rarely sudden events (as sometimes has occurred when a nation is defeated in war and experiences a rapid socio-economic collapse).

Usually it is a much longer process possessing quantifiable attributes fueled by specific inputs.

One of those attributes is economic stratification as this 2014 science journal article explains Human and nature dynamics (HANDY): Modeling inequality and use of resources in the collapse or sustainability of societies.

Says the man that is part of the generation that statistically will be the first in US history to live more poorly than their parents.

Sorry guys, but I read all the reports and statistics I can get my hands on and I don't see any way to save our way of life. It's already in rapid decline transforming into just another second tier nation.

Serious fundamental sweeping economic crisis and political/social upheaval will begin sometime in the next three decades in the U.S.. So, plan accordingly.

All we're doing in these threads is commenting on a nation in rapid decline that will leave our culture and nation forever altered in undesirable ways.
Such is the destiny of ALL world powers.......and to be quite frank....I think it wil happen faster than the time frame listed in your post........as a matter of fact I believe the nation will be brought down very swiftly......!

TecumsehGR;2030Th hings tThat's what idelines of the program said:
You are wrong on so many things. I live about 30 minutes from where this happened. He was a drug dealer, he was arrested twice in the past 4 years. The police called INS, INS called DHS. DHS told INS to tell CMPD to release him. They released him, he was in trouble 3 more times before he shot and killed these 4 people. He killed the first person 2 days before he killed the other 3. The 3 lived together, 2 females, 1 male. The first one
He killed was a male. One of the females was on the show Americas next top model. If the feds had tried him for his crimes, he would have been in prison, not killing people. They should have tried him, put him in prison,
when his time was up , deport him. Thats what we have laws for, however if you are illegal, our laws don't apply to you. I could go on and on, but I won't.
