Oops..I thought this was a CHRISTIAN chat forum...conserning things of CHRIST, for HIS glory. Everyone has opinions on politics and more, that blow like the wind....and 100 yrs from now, nobody will care about your post nor mine...Why not present a topic or question that can encourage and make someone's relation to JESUS CHRIST a lot closer. Otherwise, you might as well talk about the changing weather patterns and call it a day.

Keeping in mind a few things here. "Ben Carson, an emerging presidential candidate for the Republican Party, was captured in an unguarded moment by a GQ reporter calling President Obama a “psychopath” for the seeming ease with which he lies to the American public."

Then there's this:
[h=1]DownTrend Article: GQ Goes After Ben Carson For Calling Obama A Psychopath[/h]
If Carson was saying this to a GQ reporter it's a bit off for GQ to go after Carson isn't it?

If the criteria for arriving at a 'diagnosis' of Psychopath were what is described in that alleged list of things by Carson, Bill Slick Willie Clinton would have qualified as a psychopath. As would Bush41 and Bush43 and every single member of the Legislative branch and all Presidents in our American history.

Take heart though. If you're a Ben Carson supporter for the 2016 ticket just remember this yellow journalism is reported by World Net Daily. They're not to be taken seriously. Ever!

Carson is a fellow narcissist so he should be qualified to speak on the subject.

Well, considering the various comments, sure, just about every Politician lies to the American people with a degree of ease. It comes more natural to some than others, and some seem to make a career of lying to the people.

Lincoln once said: You can fool all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Why we should make every effort to participate in EVERY election.

Yeah, look at what it's gotten us so far.
What it's gotten is a population where less than 55% of the people bother to vote......not exactly a ringing endorsement of our peoples desire to have a Government that represents them is it?

Yeah, look at what it's gotten us so far.
That's with only 51-53% of the electorate participating, less in off-year elections. If the entire country would vote, we'd get saner results. Most simply think it's a waste of time and effort, since "look at what it's gotten us so far."

Sounds like a society with an apathetic electorate due to many distractions.....probably some unavoidable and others vanity.

Laziness, ignorance, "entitlement society" syndrome, drugged out, drunk, who knows what all?

Maybe it's best they didn't vote...........I dunno..........sigh

What's that about the weather? :)

Where the wind blows there it goes. Wherever it goes, nobody knows.

I've voted since I was 18. That was one of the perks I was looking forward to as I graduated in youth milestones. Eighteen! I was a legal adult and I could vote.

What's insane is we have a seeming two party system in place with only one candidate each in the end to vote for.
When they both suck what are we voting for?

The lesser of two evils?
That's still a vote for evil. And the Electoral College should be repealed if we want at least a sane chance at making this the electorates choice. The popular vote is courted it should be the popular vote that decides. And with more than one candidate on each ticket to decide on at that.

We are suffering from a generation of narcissists.
In the west, certainly. And for far longer than a generation. And where did that come from do you think?

It's an interesting concept to think that the leader of a nation is but a reflection of the nation as a whole.

From children brought up always being told how great they are, where everything they do is a "good job," where no one loses in competition and everyone is a winner, where all opinions are acceptable whether informed or not, which produces attitudes of entitlement and irresponsibility
