So does god had trailer parks because I swear they get hit all the time.
Naturally, when I lived in Vegas we were hit with a bad flood in about 98. The areas mainly hurt were the trailor parks near the drainage ditch that were washed away. (prepare for more sarcasm) I mean, it says all over the place in the NT that he hates poor trailor trash that struggle with enough means to even keep a roof over their head, so he just takes that roof away from them.

Although I don't agree with the OP statement, I do believe that all natural disasters are God's wake up call to repentance to the local community and the world.

Why are rainbows a symbol for homosexuality?
Exactly Elizabeth, see you hit that nail right on the head

Some would suggest that a Rainbow is just light refracting into its different wavelengths
Yet it is God who set the laws of nature for the Rainbow we have today
God made the Rainbow in the First place
11I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”12And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:
13I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

So Since some people took Gods rainbow the symbol of his covenant and made it their symbol
But instead some got a Tornado
God will not be mocked

[h=3]John 10:10[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]10 [/SUP]The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Why is God getting blamed for what the devil has done? It is NOT God that kills, steals and destroys......

As we have been shown in the past ...as well as the wrath written of in Revelation
God is both Giver and destroyer of life Piper

Jer 48:8
The destroyer will come against every town, and not a town will escape. The valley will be ruined and the plateau destroyed, because the LORD has spoken.

Jer 51:6
A destroyer will come against Babylon; her warriors will be captured, and their bows will be broken. For the LORD is a God of retribution; he will repay in full.

I don't believe the "devil" has the power to conjure up physical storms.

does this still apply after the new covenant? I mean, as a believer, do I have to be afraid, or worry that I don't please God enough?

But you believe God uses those storms to destroy people? How does that work with the character of God?
The very definition of God is love.

But does the anti-Christ Barack Hussien Osama bin Laden have the ability to? He does after he made a pact with the lizard people.

The portrayal of God as a fluffy carebear hippy dude who is nice to everyone is a lie. It is a lie which is spread to help deflate attacks on CHristianity by the likes of athiests as they point to the Old Testament and all things God did and commanded others to do in wiping out whole civilizations and cities. By pointing out "God is only love" and nothing else, deflates that argument as "God has now changed and is not like that" ... WRONG Who are we to say that, we can never begin to remotely understand God.

God is always the same and will continue to be the same. We are all on this planet still due to God making a Covenant with Noah he would not destroy the earth and the life on it again.

There are many times when we see God destroying people who cursed him and his chosen people and nation. We see individuals burned and destroyed and whole cities raised to the ground. THe promise from Genesis that those who curse Israel and Jews will be cursed is still valid and in existance.

The facts speak for themselves, if you just want to think its all co-incidence, then fine, thats your choice, but there is a lot more going on in spiritual realms than we realise.

[h=3]Isaiah 54:9-10[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]9 [/SUP]“For this is like the waters of Noah to Me;
For as I have sworn
That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth,
So have I sworn
That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.[SUP]10 [/SUP]For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

You referenced the covenant with Noah; here is what else God says.
I am just trying to understand. If what I read here is true, why would I be afraid of God?

Search the scriptures for this answer, ask and you shall receive
Who does it say we should fear?
Who did Jesus say we should fear?

Matthew 10
28Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell

You would be correct in that assumption wwjd_kilden
He will, in his own time

2Peter 3:10

suggest you read the whole of Isaiah 54 and put those verses into context.
This is to do with the restoration of Israel. Curses and punishments are still very much in Gods game plan for humans. I have witnessed it for myslef.

i haven't been able to substantiate this but i have heard repeatedly that every major catastrophe that has happened in the u s a in recent years has been preceded by an offence against the nation of israel.
