dWas reading an article in the Wall Street Journal this morning that detailed how police across Pakistan are cracking down on lawlessness, gang violence, and sectarian warfare. They have no compunction about shooting resisting criminals/terrorists to death on the spot. Didn't say anything about this, but the article is in in the same vein. Sounds to me like someone in Pakistan outside the realm of the accommodating attitude toward radical Islam in the government is fed up with the violence that is the outgrowth of that attitude.
