I'm not justifying retaliation for abortion, however there's a fine line and some cross it.

Scenario # 1: You walk upon a man beating a small child to death. He's too big to manhandle, but you do have a concealed weapon. Would you use deadly force to save the child?

I would.

Scenario # 2: Abortion clinics are legally murdering babies everyday. What's the difference between scenario # 1 and # 2?

If you say # 1 is illegal and # 2 isn't - then what if # 1 was legal? I mean where, as a society, do we draw the line?

If I were king for a day anyone using abortion as birth control would be in death row. They would be charged with murder and then hung.

But that's if I were king for a day....

If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matt 18:6

Planned Parenthood said on Sunday that news reports that the gunman who attacked its Colorado health clinic had uttered "no more baby parts" during his arrest showed that the suspect was motivated by an anti-abortion agenda.

The remark attributed to suspect Robert Lewis Dear was an apparent reference to Planned Parenthood's abortion activities and its role in delivering fetal tissue to medical researchers, a hot button issue in the 2016 race for the presidency.

"We now know the man responsible for the tragic shooting at PP's health center in Colorado was motivated by opposition to safe and legal abortion," the organization said on Twitter [Yahoo News]
Well, abortion might be safe and legal for the woman, but it's not very safe for the child in the woman's womb.

This is very essence of self-love! Kill the child, it's in my way, I've got to watch out for me.

Disgusting!

I don't believe scenario #1 and #2 are similar.
In scenario #2 to be similar to #1 you would have to shoot the mom and not blow up the clinic.
The clinic doesn't force the death of the child unless the mom chooses so.
Of course we're not for shooting the mom but educating her of the reality and offering her alternatives.
The true culprit in the abortion mess is the Government whose responsibility is to protect life not destroy it, this is why legalized abortion is a plight on every country which embraces it.

...Would this guy be labeled a Radical Christian Terrorist?...
I don't give any fancy labels to this fellow but just look upon him as a murderer!

Just call a spade, a spade, and don't get long winded about it!

QED!

I don't believe scenario #1 and #2 are similar.
In both scenarios a child is being murdered, only in # 2 it's legal. To tell you the truth I'm rather surprised that there's not a civil war over this issue.

The clinic doesn't force the death of the child unless the mom chooses so.
Likewise the hired killer doesn't kill until you pay him to murder.....Just saying...

Yes, but we can't just blame the government. It's human nature.....

like I said, to make your scenarios correspond you'd have to shoot the mom which would be self defeating, since she willingly hands over her child to be murdered ...

Planned Parenthood Spokeswoman Vicki Cowart says that the Republicans speaking against the practice of abortions has to be a direct link to giving mentally unstable people reason to attack Planned Parenthood Clinics.

Fiorina and Huckabee fire back revealing the ignorance of Cowart. "Typical Liberal blame game politicization of a tragic incident."

So, anyone expected anything else?

no, I did not expect anything different than what happened in the aftermath of the terrible event, but man how nice would it be to just hear the media say- a disturbed individual did something awful- then move on and not politicize the story. I know, I know, I am either dreaming or having a 1985 flashback when there was no 24-7 news media. but how nice would some objective truth be??

If only news sold as well as commentary.

There are far too many posts here with a "I'm not condoning what the shooter did BUT..." vibe to them.

The man who did this is a mental case, that's clear. Anything can set off a person with mental issues. You can't stop reporting the news because a mentally unstable person may go off and kill someone. He's not a Christian, the Bible says murder is wrong. So he's not a "Christian terrorist". There's no such thing. You can sit in a garage all day but it doesn't make you a Maserati.

I'm honestly indifferent either way. I mean bad things happen daily. The world is only going to get worse.

I don't think this is a political issue, at least not for me.

Rather, I think this is a compassion issue for the victims of this senseless shooting. And for that I pray God has mercy on those who were lost. And heals those who grieve. May justice be done to the one responsible. And may he too be held in the compassionate spirit of Christ as he is clearly very troubled. May God be with his family who struggle to understand and survive with his last name attached to theirs while this is still fresh pain and news in the eyes and hearts of many.

Amen.

I am not condoning what the shooter did BUT... it's too bad we are not worked up half as much over the innocent infants lives who have been mercilessly taken inside those clinics.

What about the innocent babies being murdered everyday.... anyone that don't care about them..has no position to speak about compassion for these other people who was killed.

Anyone who supports abortion is a twisted and evil person...this guy was just crazy and might find mercy before God..those who kill babies will find no mercy on judgment day.

Unless they repent of course. :)

So, your thoughts are?

Just wondering.........do you condone what he did? Or maybe, do you condone abortion on demand?
