Canada is bringing in 25,000 refugees and we have 1/10th the population of the US. Trudeau made this an election promise and is determined to carry it through and who cares about the consequences?
The US would have to being in 250,000 refugees to make it equivalent to what Canada is bringing in. Now why am I not proud of Canada right now? Oh, right Muslims who want to kill or convert every infidel in the world!

around 75% of the people want the plans to bring immigrants in from the middle east to be suspended ... Obama is going to continue his insanity anyway. He is really the best thing that ever happened to Republicans ...too bad so many people have been killed and will be killed because of him.

Lets just hope the U.S. and Canadian citizens don't put up with it when push comes to shove. Europe is totally screwed in some places. Sharia law zones in the middle of London for crying out loud. If the M.O. is the same when they start flooding us and diluting out culture, better go ahead and embrace being called a racist and a nazi. Thats pretty much how they shut Europe up when it started over there. People being scared of name calling and any criticism of the immigrants is condsidered hate speech. Even if your neighborhood crimerate skyrocketed you can't talk about it some places over there without dealing with a lot of consequences.

I actually had a high school friend post a meme on FB saying how easy it will be to process 25,000 people because Pierson international airport in Toronto does it every day! Sure! Visitors with passports and money who are not staying! Not a thorough background check!
It took Immigration 2 YEARS to process my DIL's application for permanent residence status. She has no record, she has been married to my Canadian son for 8 years, with two children, one born in Canada, the other in England because she could not get on BC Medical without her permanent residence status. England got her on their national health in days because she was due. I guess a lot of refugees would like to get processed that fast! What a drain on England's health care budget!

Let's not forget that around 80% of the refugees are young men. How does this not raise alarm bells in people's minds? Are people really this stupid? Where are all of the women and children? Did they so valiantly leave them in the war-torn countries? I'm not against receiving some refugees, but please, let's have some kind of screening process and not open our countries to all. Dunderheads.

During a news break on the local christian radio station here this morning, it was reported that the US Border Patrol arrested eight Syrians trying to cross the border in Laredo, Texas...only a 2 1/2 hour ride from here. Made me wonder if they were a decoy group to allow more to sneak in while a large gathering of law enforcement/immigration personnel were distracted while attending to the eight.
I saw the picture on the evening news tonight of the woman terrorist who was killed yesterday in Paris. She looked like a young hooligan. I can't imagine what would possess a woman to join ISIS. I mean, where do women jihadists go anyway when they die? Do they get a bunch of male virgins, too?? I would like to know the answer to this, as it has been bugging me for quite a while.
As a Canadian and a Christian. I am proud of my government accepting Syrian refugees. There are Christian church groups here helping to sponsor and build homes for them. There are interfaith organizations working together. We have a thorough screening process. And I am confident in my government to do its best to keep us secure. I'm saddened that the U.S. has turned back on its values and what is written on the Statue of Liberty. We can't give into fear, because then they win. We had a terrorist attack last year in Ottawa, but we're pressing on because f them.
