Why take Santorum seriously anyway? For instance: he recently made some stupid remarks about the Netherlands. He claimed that the elderly here are euthanized against their will, which isn't the case. Sometimes i think Santorum will say anything to rally the conservatives in the US around him. I don't care if hardcore 'pronography' (sic) is banned or not. If you don't like it, don't watch it , right?

Oh and btw, no offense, but if you want to start up a thread like this, and you want the people to reply to it, you could at least check the spelling first. Just a friendly suggestion.

Is there a presidential candidate who does not have the fear of God? To my knowledge, all of them are Christian, to one extent or another. (I understand some people don't think Mormons are Christian, but they do have the fear of God.)

By the way, it's spelled "Shalom." In Hebrew, it's shin-lamed-vav-mem. The lamed is not doubled.

Or, I don't know, maybe this is some other language I'm not familiar with. I know arabic is "salam," but there are a lot of languages I don't know, so I'll shut up now :)

What people do and watch in their own homes should not any president or ruler get involved with.

I guess he wants to ban commercials that has a sexual nature?

Video games that are violent or with characters that might bee seen as sexual

Violent movies and TV

Anything that is not related to the Christian God?

If a relationship is damaged beyond all repair due to porn, it wasn't good to start with.

And I know there are victims of porn. Child pornography is already illegal. I believe this thread is talking about what goes on with consenting adults, and the government has no business there.

I think if you believe spiritual prison and spiritual death are real things (and the redemptive and saving power of Christ is also real), you shouldn't be so concerned with throwing people into physical prison for their moral sins.

I don't think the government should have the right to decide that. Especially since it made provisions in the constitution for free speech and press. If we are able to start banning things now, what would hold them back from banning other constitutional freedoms in the future.

I think there needs to be a seperation of church and government, but people like santorum aren't capable of that. When you use religion to get yourself elected, you kinda loose that.

If we wanted to be a christian nation, then we should have been so from the start, not trying to impose it on citizens now.
