This is from the ACLJ:

A new resolution has been introduced in Congress calling on Iran to immediately release Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani. Pastor Youcef remains under a death sentence in Iran for his Christian faith.

Pastor Youcef is still alive today because people the world over have taken a stand, calling for his freedom. Now it is time for Congress to speak with one voice urging the Iranian regime to overturn Pastor Youcef's death sentence and immediately release him.

Take action to free Pastor Youcef. Sign the ACLJ’s petition urging Congress to demand his release.

This was the front page headline story on Fox News' website today so hopefully the Iranians will give in to the worldwide pressure to release this man.

What a disgusting country that has no religious freedom.
That's why the 1st Amendment in the USA is so admirable.

You can be Mormon, Jew, Christian, Catholic or even a Wiccan and the government has to leave you alone.

Does anyone know if Non-US people can sign this petition, because it asks for a zip code. I suppose it has to be USA because it's asking congress??

God help this man and his family.

Funny how media just picks up ona single case to go global with. What about all the others who have been executed and killed without even a mention anywhere.

Media is only oiling the squeaky wheel. The Church group this pastor is associated with is pretty vocal on these matters. Unfortunately too much of Christendom is silent on this matter and these persecuted Christians remain largely unknown.

Yes it is amazing how many people sweep it under the carpet and pretend it does not happen.

I suppose the subject of Christians being persecuted is too "political" for some Churches...it's not spiritual enough.

Often these people would call the fire brigade if some muslim got "offended" by some thugs in the town amusing themselves with name calling. Strange priorities wouldn't one think...

Since Sept 26 2014 will mark the two year anniversary in an Iranian prison and the fact nationwide many will be praying for him and his family on this day, this thread is being 'rebumped'.
