I expect we'll be seeing more of this in the years ahead as less qualified air traffic controllers go to work in air traffic control towers so liberals will be happy.

But it's OK because liberal diversity requirements will be met.

Meet the "clerisy":

"The new liberal ruling elite, a mix of academics and cultural powerbrokers, is like the old clerical orders—wielding it’s wealth and power to enforce “truths” and punish dissenters.

In ways not seen since at least the McCarthy era, Americans are finding themselves increasingly constrained by a rising class—what I call the progressive Clerisy—that accepts no dissent from its basic tenets. Like the First Estate in pre-revolutionary France, the Clerisy increasingly exercises its power to constrain dissenting views, whether on politics, social attitudes or science.

An alliance of upper level bureaucrats and cultural elites, the Clerisy, for for all their concerns about inequality, have thrived, unlike most Americans, in recent years. They also enjoy strong relations with the power structure in Washington, Silicon Valley, Hollywood and Wall Street.

The Koch Brothers donate $25 million to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the foremost source of financial support to African-American students, and the liberals howl like baboons in rage because it doesn't fit their script.

Koch Brothers Give $25 Million to United Negro College Fund
I found the reason why the left will absolutely hate this donation....

The UNCF launched the "Koch Scholars" program Friday, which "will provide nearly 3,000 MERIT-BASED awards to African American undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctorate students seeking scholarship assistance."

My caps on merit-based.

The one unquestionable stat that defeats the ideal that liberalism cares for people is this...

when our country is run by them.

Jimmy Carter

Barak Obama.

Nuff said.

The Koch brothers fund climate change denial, donate to war causes and personally financially benefit from Middle Eastern energy conflicts. £25m is a minute fraction of their worth; it's Pharisees splashing a little gold in public, and for the furtherance of Western capitalist education. As for McCarthyism and its supposed similarities to the growing liberal culture, you do realize McCarthy was an idiotic right wing spoonhead that made sure anybody even associated with the word 'socialist' was unable to find work? The comparison is a failrly idiotic one. It's like slating Galileo for going against the church's ideas of the flat Earth and then discrediting science by saying 'science is wrong about loads of stuff, just look how Galileo proved the flat Earth theory wrong!'

You should talk to Pete Seeger, lliberal, socialist, and victim of McCarthy.

As for 'cultural elites' and 'bureaucrats', the most powerful people in the West are capitalist warmongering idiots hence why we're in war all over the world and the driving force behind our economy is a capitalist model whose biggest advocate, the late great USA, owes trillions of dollars to ghosts. I don't give a damn if those people are liberal or conservative when the problem still exists. Do you seriously think that I, liberal Esanta, agree with Barrack Obama's foreign policy or the oil wars or the uber-capitalist debt paradigm or elitist culture? You must be joking!

Your article cites the media power of the Murdoch family as some polarized defence against the injustices of the rising liberal 'Clericy', like a victory for truth. For goodness sakes, the Murdoch media empire is one big garbage factory! The man wouldn't know journalism if it smacked him in the nuts!

You lot are a paradox.

Climate change.........guess global warming was too embarrassing a definition for a failed fraudulent ideal with only fudged ''science'' to back it up.

Its almost laughable if it wasn't so sad people actually believe that stuff.

You're a person claiming the ignorance of a vast, vast majority of highly educated people who are umpteen times more qualified to comment on scientific matters than you are. You don't realize that you're actually the one who looks like a tin-foil hat man in this picture.

You are wrong but Wikipedia got this one right: Political activities of the Koch brothers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As you can see their causes align very well with traditional Americanism. They support a wide range of libertarian and conservative organizations from pro-family to economic research organizations and align with America's traditional heritage of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense.

About 80% of the political candidates they support are Republican but they also support independent candidates and an occasional Democrat.

I don't know why you're screeding nonsensically here. I guess you drank the blue Kool-Aid... lol. But then you're a big fan of the radical left's greatest contributor: atheist George Soros right?

LOL! George Soros - Conservapedia

Soros, the radical far left's greatest supporter, described how as a teenager he helped to cart off the stolen possessions of Hungarian Jewish men, women and children after they were rounded up and transported to death camps. He claims it never bothered him a bit, and still doesn't bother him today.

He has no personal regrets about his actions and told Steve Kroft of CBSNews in response to questions about his behavior in an interview with of 60 Minutes,

KROFT: No feeling of guilt?
Mr. SOROS: No.

The great thing about the immoral, deceived, and misinformed left is that they live in a glass house. So when they start throwing rocks... lol.

I never understood the depth of insecurity it takes to affiliate a man you don't inherently know (me) with whatever random individual you decide to pick out of your box of wingdings. It must be very scary to see the bigotry and fearmongering that anchors your views fall at your feet under the leadership of new generations.

Viva la revolucion, AoK. It's not stopping now.

I do understand the depth of your own insecurities which lead you to engage in the constant ad hominem of those who display a far better understanding than your own and your penchant for dismissing accurate information because it conflicts with the misinformation you've built your life on.

My life is built on the rock of God not the sand of modern liberal progressivism meaning that I'm secure in Creator God whatever comes.

But look at you, pretending that a rapid decline into immorality, deception, and debt represents progress. How ironic that regression is called progress amongst "progressives."

Lol, you'll understand when you're older son... that is if you're lucky enough to live that long.
