As I said in the OP, IF he is proven guilty, he should remove himself from the Election, go home and live a quiet life out of the Public Eye. However, the truth really doesn't matter, because Moore will ever be tarnished be he innocent or guilty.

Funny how the Dems in Congress (Al Frankin for one) who have been identified as sexual harassers/abusers are not being tarred and feathered the way Moore is by the Media.

Not one of these women have any responsibility to provide proof in this..........Now, it may well be they are telling the whole truth, and if they are, Moore should be and will be held accountable, but after the last Decade when the State Democrats in Bama, and Democrat National Committee have spent millions and millions to find anything to tarnish him......ONLY NOW do these ladies come out? That is just plain odd to me.

Just wondering where you are getting these stories from? I live in Bama, and have not seen a single thing reported about the things you are posting here. Would like to see the Source of these revelations please.
I read the Washington Post article online. I used to get the Mobile Press Register years ago before they went to three days a week and became a third rate paper. I sometimes read The Lagniappe, which I think is not as corrupt as the Press Register was- they are still small. Once they get bigger, they will be corrupt as well. The Lagniappe reports mostly about the goings on in Mobile and Baldwin counties, but also state politics.

Anyway, I read between the lines when I read news articles. From the Post story, it was clear that Moore was the local hero. It happens often.

I must say, that I never liked Moore. Since his refusal to take away the Ten Commandments statue, I have a very poor opinion of him as a jurist. I did read the article with a biased opinion. The allegations could be false, however, I think they are true. He did not deny dating the sixteen year olds. He denied knowing the fourteen year old.

If the allegations are true, he could still have been loyal to his wife all these years and not messing with little girls. BUT, if they are true, he should admit he was wrong in his thirties and not pretend it never happened.

He refuses to follow the law, this is his biggest impediment to being elected senator.

So, basically, what you are posting here is your personal speculation? That's ok, but you should say so in your comments and not hold them out as if they are "truth."

I also think your personal opinion of Moore is coloring your beliefs about all of this...........and why in the world would ANY PROFESSED CHRISTIAN not like Moore because he refused to remove the 10 Commandments?

Do you know/understand WHY he refused to do so?

Because in the House of Congress, the 10 Commandments are on display........as well, in the Supreme Court they are carved on a wall........Moore held that IF they could display them, then it had to be Constitutional for him to do so in front of his Court House.........Made perfect sense to me.

The idiots in Washington pass and enforce many, many laws upon the Citizens that they themselves are NOT required to keep. Moore sees this as being WRONG........and so do I.

Wait...........WHUT?

Lived in Bama for most of my life. Never heard of this, nor has anyone I know. Laws are changed, amended quite often here in Bama, and none of those changes/amendments ever required a change to the State Constitution.
Dude, STATE laws have to be voted on by the public. We’re ALWAYS voting on amenmendments to our constitution. Sometimes we have to vote state wide on things that pertain only to one county. I refrain from voting on those amendments as I believe only the citizens of those counties should vote on issues pertaining to them. I have lived in Alabama all my life, and have voted in most elections since I was 18. If we are talking about county laws or city laws yes, they can be changed without a state wide vote (if they are not state laws). Changes in state law requires state wide vote.

HE installed that statue- it wasn’t there before him. HE refused to remove it, although ordered to do so by the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

I don’t care if he is right or wrong, a jurist is to follow the law. If he was upset about it, he should have resigned and said “My conscience will not allow me to serve under the laws of the United States of America.”

Let’s change it around. Let’s say Moore was Muslim and installed a statue with words from the Koran. Let’s say he was ordered to remove it by the United States Supreme Court. Let’s say he refused.

Everyone would say he is unfit to be a jurist and everyone would be correct in this assessment.

Christians are supposed to follow the law, if their consciences cause them not to be able to do so, they should resign from governmental positions.

Only changes/passing of CERTAIN LAWS appear on State Ballots. Not ALL changes to ALL Laws. Changes in some State Laws require Statewide voting, not ALL. Do some more research please. And requiring Statewide voter approval does not equate to changing the State Constitution. Not all State Laws are included in the Constitution. There are thousands of State Laws here, as in other States, to believe that any change/amendment to them equates to amending the Constitution is ludicrous. Just saying. SOME LAWS require Statewide voter approval, but NOT all.

The ones you are talking about are actually written as AMENDMENTS TO THE STATE CONSTITUTION which does require Statewide voter approval. But only if they are written as AMENDMENTS.

FYI

Understanding the Alabama Constitutional Amendments ...

There are hundreds of State Laws concerning Driving, as with Speed Limits and such. With Hunting, Fishing fees, and restrictions and such. With Insurance Requirements and such. And many, many more that do not require Statewide approval. Usually, these are changed/amended/enacted by the State Legislature and signed by the Governor. And, yes, County, City laws do not require Statewide approval either.

True, but this can be a big victory for God as well....yes it will drag the democrats out, BUT it will also strengthen the resolve of the hard working, conservative Christian voters who know this is all a farce and attempt to smear an honorable and in my opinion righteous man, to have him put into office. Think about it, it wouldn't just be a victory for the conservatives, but it would be such a huge victory for our Lord.
I'm a conservative Christian voter, and I see no value to having Roy Moore in the US Senate. What I see is grand stander, who loves the spotlight. I would love to see him demonstrate those Christian values that he claims to uphold.

Putting a statue with the Ten Commandments in the state capitol is nothing other than an an attempt to agitate much of public.

You can mark my word here. By remaining on the ballot, he will put the Senate one seat closer to control by the democrats. In fact, he may have already done repairable damage to the GOP.

Glad you told me that I always thought God was in charge of who got elected.

Oh you men, sometimes I wish I could make you all look like ladies and set up appointments for all of you with alpha males, known for abuse, 10" taller than you and 80 lbs heavier than you...oh...and, of course...way stronger than you...

Now, imagine being left alone with a guy like that who wants his candy...

Not much fun?

Will you tell on him?

Nah, it's probably all on you anyways...they'll tell you...

So you just keep your mouth shot...until you get to know that you're not the only one...

I'll say this, I live in Alabama and I have been following Roy Moore for a long time. Yes he can come across as a little cocky and arrogant at times, but he serves the people, and he's not afraid to stand up for Christ and the values of the Christian faith. I don't for one second believe any of these accusations against him are true. There have been MANY women who grew up and worked with him that said they had numerous occasions where they were alone with him, and he never once hit on them or did anything out of conduct. If Breibart had not pushed this story to be run at the Washington Post, this story would have rolled out a few days before the election, thus causing doubters and voters to switch. Even when Roy Moore was chief justice, you never heard a single solitary word about ANY of this, and he's been serving the people of Alabama for a LONG time folks, you'd think at some point down the line with THESE kinds of allegations someone would speak up about it. A couple of the accusers have already been decreed as Doug Jones supporters and one even served as a volunteer on the Clinton campaign trail. I'm sorry, but there's an old saying that says, Don't blow me that smoke, and these women are blowing some pretty serious smoke in true voters faces, to try and change the power of the senate and house and Congress. Think Hollywood has some good actors? They aren't the only ones.....they're everywhere!

What a difference a day makes.... (or several days).... if anyone's been following the news, you know that one of his accusers admitted to forging part of the yearbook message that Moore signed for her in high school.... And its now known that he was not actually banned from the mall where they say he was preying on teenage girls..

On another note.. if he is as serious of a christian as he portends, then he must have repented for any misconduct he did in the past (at least one can hope so..), so maybe those sins (if they exist) are already forgiven. If so, then maybe God wants him in the senate after all...

Yesterday they said he is actually leading in the polls 48% to 45.7% (before the florida rally). The GOP and Trump needs him to win so they will have more than just a two-vote majority in the Senate.

Roy Moore is going to win. I wish I could have seen Gloria Allreds face when she realized her client is a liar.

I agree with this post. A Christian, especially one in government office, should follow the law. If you don't like the law than do what you can to change it.
