Well these day if he doesn't, she can just divorce him and get a new one that's better, heck you don't even have to wait for the divorce to find the new one first with the atheist worldview. It's all about how I "feel", right?

50/50 chance she's too progressive for marriage. No danger there.

This colander thing has been going on for ages though. Honestly not sure why some people are so bent on doing it. The first time one of them did it it was somewhat clever, but now it's getting pretty old.

Yeah, there was even some town council official that was sworn in with a colander on his head.

yea, it's the overall attitude in the world today, it's all about feeling good all the time, if it gets rough divorce and find a new one. I also don't want to sound like I'm saying there aren't very good reasons to get divorced these days, but marriage is looked at as such a trivial thing these days for the most part.

Every statistic I've seen has shown equal or higher divorce rates for christians than atheists, so I don't really think that one's appropriate.

I wasn't excluding Christians from what I said, unless you can point out where I specifically said "except Christians". I don't know why you keep insinuating I did. For the record I still consider Christians to fall under "the world today". I agree 100% so no need to tell me again, sorry your so defensive about it, jeez.

Lord, Lord, Lord.....Get away from Me, I never knew you.

Going to church does not make you a christian and many of our pewmates will not be our heavenly mates. That does not mean devout christians cannot divorce, there are two NT reasons for divorce in the bible, but these stats can be skewed somewhat when you take into consideration not everyone who calls themselves a christian, is.
