The month's almost over and I've been meaning to post some good ones on this cool thread.

I hope nobody gets offended at inner city NY stereotypes. I think if the liberal democrat audience at SNL didn't mind, folks here won't mind. One thing 19 y.o. Eddie Murphy found helpful was to not take the whole racial thing too seriously. He not only laughed, but liked it when others laughed with him when he'd kid around.

He could have been "above all that" and been like some of the stupid white boys pretending to help BLM, burning neighborhoods, trying to kill Kyle and gettin' their butt capped by Rittenhouse.
Instead Murphy found a character that somehow made him famous.
$200 Million later he comes full circle back to SNL to be Mr Robinson that made his start.
I heard that SNL has been struggling to find good material since he left. Lol

My main Doctor is the Great Physician.
When I pray for answers, He leads me oftentimes through one of my earthly doctors.
Here's one of the pcps I've talked to most over the past 10+ years. Dr Daniels is awesome and has helped so many people I know. She is a big part of my history. A good part as I'm so grateful for what I've learned and been able to help others better because of her. I recommend you all subscribe and get notifications to her YouTube channel.https://www.youtube.com/@DrJenniferDaniels/videos

speaking of healthcare,,, do they have estate recovery in your state? I have both a family member and a friend who have had their property/homes seized in the recovery program in Texas. I think it went in effect in Texas in 2005 for those on SS,SSDI,medicare ect. but I'm confused if they will take my home when I die or my wife(which ever is first)? https://www.hhs.texas.gov/regulations/legal-information/your-guide-medicaid-estate-recovery-program

As much as I have worked with seniors, I should know by now. I don't really get into that area or financial issues. I'm glad you brought it up though. This topic deserves a thread of it's own . As much as I'm against it, Mom has insisted on going temporarily to nursing homes to recover from hospitalizations for a condition. She refuses to discuss these things with me. This is the first time I've heard of this program, but like most legal/ financial issues, states duplicate laws/ statutes.

I do know that some children and parents set up special trusts to protect assets/ property. Sometimes they put the spouse and or children on the deed to avoid probate if something happens and to protect from the contract when going to a nursing home. Then you should research as to tax structure and what would work best for your family. I don't know if a lawyer/ cpa would be the best way to go about it, but there's got to be some online helps. I would look at the basic structure of revocable and irrevocable trusts to start. There's an unlimited number of trusts that have different varieties of benefits, pros, cons.
Maybe you could start another thread in the family section to bring some attention to it and get some information.

Have a blessed day!

I look forward to the day when we do not see what race a person is.
That will never happen as long as people keep pointing out that this person is this race and that person is that race.
I know that will not come until Jesus comes, but why can't we at least try to go down that path?

The reason is quite simple, but too many people can't see it. Race has been weaponized in America to ensure that there is constant racial tension.

This works to the advantage of the Communists who have hijacked the country. Karl Marx taught that there must always be class conflict. Since social classes are not really entrenched in the USA (as they are in the UK for example) race is the next best thing.

So now Black Racism is being promoted by the government, and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) is simply a coverup for reverse racism. As a result unqualified, incompetent and unsuitable people have been placed in positions of authority, and the results are disastrous.

To add to the conflicts still more, 15 million illegal migrants (particularly from Mexico and Central America, but also from all around the world) have been brought into the country at taxpayer expense. the Blacks who are already legal citizens hate this, since it puts them at a disadvantage. And the ordinary hard-working taxpayers also hate this.
But the Communists and their billionaire supporters just love this.

According to some people who travelled quite a lot, America is the least racist country in their experiences. China keeps being mentioned as #1, although I would guess there are plenty of others. South Africa is another due to Marxist agenda .

This link / interview is how
theY work. The method has accomplished the Marxist/c👁️as goals for generations

Unless one is physically blind, it is quite natural to notice the skin color of a person. What IS IMPORTANT is to not allow yourself to JUDGE that person based on skin color. As MLK Jr. said, we should long for the day when our children are judged for the content of their character and not for the color of their skin.

We can no more ignore the color of ones skin than we can how tall they are, the language they speak, how they dress, or any other audio visual identifiers. We DO NOT have to judge the person based on them however...

True. The reality is, there are different races. Nothing can change that. We can look at people in a bad way or a good way.

....and nobody's pure by lineage, whatever that means. Can you imagine? Next time the census comes around I just might scribble in "purebread" (I have a little of everything;)).

I agree I always get a chuckle out of it when filling out forms because they ask for "race", then in a completely separate place they ask if "Latino or Hispanic"(which is correct because neither are a race),lol... I like explaining to census takers and other office employees that in fact all Hispanics are Latino but not all Latinos are Hispanic(some speak other languages). If they ask if I am Mexican I then have to explain to them that Mexican means that a person is a citizen of the nation named Mexico and that there are different races of people in Mexico(the nation). By then most times they ask if I'm American and so I have to explain to them that America is the name of a continent and not a country and that people in South America are in fact Americans the same as those in Central and north America are Americans. It all starts because they noticed that in the section where they ask race I checked white but then in the section where they ask if Hispanic or Latino I checked Hispanic. https://www.britannica.com/story/whats-the-difference-between-hispanic-and-latino
