It seems this wonderful, courageous, strong leader is afraid of Megan Kelly of F.N.C.

"She don't treat me fair....they can't toy with me like they do with everyone else.....they made fun of me....."

Recon he wants some cheese with that whine?

And THIS GUY is the GUY to make America GREAT again?

too, too funny............

I'm not much of a Megan Kelly fan, but if a man throws a temper tantrum at her questions, or the possibility of her asking him a question that he don't want to answer, I for one, don't want him negotiating on my behalf with any foreign power.

If he actually shows up at the Debate, and were I the Moderators.......I wouldn't ask him one single question. He would get his Opening Statement, and his Closing Statement.

AND........if he whined and complained about not getting a question........I'd have Megan look at him and say......

"Sorry Mr. Trump, we didn't want to toy with you and make fun of you, and hurt your feelings."

Yup, yup............... :)

Trump now says he will be raising money for the Wounded Warriors Fund instead of attending the Debate.......

uh, ok, that IS an important Charity...........BUT, isn't he worth BILLIONS?

Why don't he just WRITE A CHECK?

This is either another one of Trump's genius media maneuvers or it is a huge blunder which may snowball in Cruz's favor.

The Donald is not a gambler. He's hoping to have a Rand Paul-style event, but on a grander scale. I actually think this has little to do with Megyn or Ted Cruz in his mind other than to the extent that tussling with them at this point will not yield the same returns as openly standing for injured vets (a HUGE sleeper issue in red states).

But hey. Napoleon had Waterloo. Hannibal had Zama. Lee had Gettysburg. Maybe Trump will have Iowa.

Here's my problem with this "Grandiose Event" he is planning to have:

Is the Wounded Warriors Project a wonderful thing? YES

However, just like all the other ESTABLISHMENT BILLIONAIRES, Trump wants US TO GIVE OUR MONEY. You realize he could PERSONALLY FUND Wounded Warriors for years to come and not even miss the money.

Now, I'm sure he has donated to the Project............but hey, Mr. Trump, STEP UP and have the courage of your convictions and FUND the Project for the next 10 years at least! Write the check dude.

Also wanted to say, I had not planned to watch the Debate tonight...........however.......with Trump a no-show, I will watch. It may well be the best Debate to date........it has that chance, IF they do not spend all night talking about Trump.

IMHO, this is a brilliant move by Trump. He can appear to be helping vets, and run an unchallenged response to every question on social media. Pay attention to Twitter tonight. He's banking on getting out a large crowd of first time caucus participants, and the vast majority of the low information, Twitter generation voters to participate.

Rand Paul did this with a previous debate -- Trump seems to have followed suit.

Trump's leaving actually benefited Paul this time. He makes prime time again. Maybe he'll get to answer a question or two.

If I were Cruz and Rubio, I wouldn't mention Trump.

I think the vets turned him down. They said they didn't want things to be politicized. What gets me is that the country is falling apart. We have refugees being dumped on us,illegals coming across the boarder and ISIS on the move. We have lone wolves and no jobs, massive debt. And we're talking about Trump vs Megyn Kelly, not worth a hill of beans. If Trump was serious about wanting to be president about this country he'd rise above whatever Kelly said and ANSWER what we the people want to know! What solutions does he have to this mess?! What will he do about ISIS? But no,he's on twitter posting
pictures of Kelly in GQ magazine. Country is going to hell in a hand basket and we're watching a three ring circus. smh

Trump disrespected captured veterans when he said that he doesn't like veterans that get caught when referring McCain. Ironically, he's trying to honor veterans now... smh

This guy is ground level low. I've been praying for our country and our people these days. This man is not a man of character... not a man I believe that's in it for the people... not good leadership material.... someone I don't respect... or have any faith in. Literally, any other republican candidate is better than Trump... literally.

For me, from the get go... Ben Carson is the man I trust the most due to character and his connection to G-d. I trust G-d's influence is the most important thing. I believe Carson has it most clearly. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz are tied. Lastly, Jeff Bush would be my last pick.

It is reported the Vets thing raised 6 million bucks........and Trump put in 1 million of that........well, good........reckon he is reading my comments here? Nah, just kidding........

On a side note........I heard a report that Wounded Warriors is being called out for their upper level management people spending loads of Charity money on trips, expensive hotels and such........

Waiting to see how that plays out...........Hmm

Maybe they read "The Art of the Deal?"

As I understand it, about 4% of the money that goes to Wounded Warrior actually makes it to our veterans.

That said, it's all propaganda and rhetoric. Veteran care is a sleeper issue in this country. People are not discussing it like immigration, but it's extremely important to the veterans and families who rely on the VA and they are a rather large, reliable, and vocal voting block.

It'll be one of the top issues candidates for Federal office will talk about/run on in the coming years. Trump is smart enough to see the trend. I honestly suspect it is one reason why the man is so popular and retains such a loyal fanbase.

Actually it's about 60% based on a recent CBS broadcast which as far as charities go is still terrible. A good charity spends 10% or less on overhead and 90% or more goes out to do the work. I always tell people to research a charity prior to donating because many of them waste huge sums of money on outrageous executive and upper management salaries and perks.

Whatever the percentage is, I don't like it whatsoever that folks are playing on the loving and sympathetic heartstrings of Americans by airing commercials about wounded Vets to enrich themselves.

I also detest that some Political candidates are doing the same thing to win votes.

I look at their HISTORY. What were they doing for the Vets 2 years ago, 5 years ago, 10 years ago? Not just pontificating during their campaign speeches.
