For someone without a penchant for numbers you seem rather good with them...that's alot of numbers after the decimal.
I went shopping the other day too and for the first time saw prices being reduced. A box of 8 sausage, egg and cheese croissants went from over $15 down to under $11.
This should encourage you both that inflation may be coming under control and that numbers after the decimal may not be as essential as once thought.
Ah, but you see, dear man, that my penchant not being for math, does not preclude a penchant for numbers ;):geek::giggle:

I noticed too, that cheese tortelini and spinach raviolis have not gone up in price :D

But a 12-pack of TP has gone from $5.00 to $7.99! :censored:

That reminds me of the story of the father trying to help his son with math.
But you love numbers son. How can you not like math?
Numbers are fun but math has problems. To be honest dad, I have enough problems of my own.

The war on drugs in my opinion is a self-defeating idea
Criminalized drugs
Cartels have Monopoly on the criminalized drugs
Cartels get richer
Cartels bring in more drugs
The SeeIAye might be one of the bigger players in that market.....maybe the biggest.

Cameron-I feel encouraged about the agreements that had to be made to get the votes for speaker.:)
Yet, a wise man of God shared a vision of a time when the banks would close on a Thursday, open on the following Monday and we would have half our dollars, I can see that soon, probably in line with the Brics Nations replacing the Dollar

I am keeping an eagle eye on the on the parameters of the US/global economy.

Soverign defaults and or hyperinflation seem inevitable. There is no feasible way for the USA to overcome its twin deficits. And the US dollar reserve currency status is in grave jeopardy.

As far as the Speakership goes I was of 2 minds. It was politically astute to get concessions now when the leverage exists. Had Republicans won 20 more seats these concessions wouldn't have been necessary to gain the Speakership. In this way, not having a red wave was beneficial.
But by insisting on being on committees as new law makers they will be replacing someone who is from another state which will lose political clout. If they end up replacing someone from my state, I might not care for that.
As far as actual money goes, there only exists enough to cover about 15 percent of deposits in any bank. Money today is just a serious of 1s and 0s on computer screens for the most part.
If the money is changed, drug dealers would go broke overnight. Since drug money is good for banks, it's not likely that scenario will play out as long as the dollar remains the reserve currency.
