A tiny child named Agony
Looked upon sweet Ecstasy
Wondered...Could it ever be
That His love should reach to me?

Is He just like mortal men?
Will He strike and strike again?
Or will He hold me tenderly
And show me that He cares for me?

If He loves me will I know?
Will His caring ever show
In a way that I can see
In a way that touches me?
