Men played with you as they wished
And false promises were the necklaces you wore
When your many husbands gave you poetry
In the middle of roses and lilies

There is no way any man can court you
Because your mind starts traveling
And it is instantly filled with memories of pain
That turned your peace into a raging war
Spitting out bitter words to bewildered men
To ease your constant rage and fury

Anger
Into the deepest fiber of your heart
You covered your eyes to listen no more
But deep inside you’re aching of weakness
If you knew there’s a husband waiting to marry you
A man that never deceived anyone
A man that gave His last drop of blood for you
Why you run away from Jesus?

Hatred
That’s what you have deep within
To let it go like a violent wave in the ocean
All because real men were absent
Too many parties and too many expensive gifts
To hide their scorn and fallacy
And while people think you are a feared woman
Deep inside you know that is not true

It is hard for you to start over
After seven broken marriages
And twelve bruised wounds all over you
It is unbearable to think about family
When your own sons were given in abortion
No one has any idea of the deep hole you’re in
But someone was knocking your door from long ago
An honest Nazarene who knows how it feels to be despised

Personal abuse and verbal insults
were all the encouragement you heard
While the kitchen became your second home
With no right to talk to no one
Many try to give boring advices
Of something they have not grasped at all
Pretending your life must change
Like magic in a wand all over you
Ignoring some wounds take years of healing

Anger
Into the deepest fiber of your heart
You covered your eyes to listen no more
But deep inside you’re aching of weakness
If you knew there’s a husband waiting to marry you
A man that never deceived anyone
A man that gave His last drop of blood for you
Why you run away from Jesus?

But God uses the weak and despised
To humble the powerful and rich
He takes the unworthy to make it holy
Despite the blackness of our lives
He can transform it into an amazing one
