At the cross

Let us clear our mind, being undistracted and undisturbed of any thought. Make all cease ,only being focused on what is brought.

Imagine standing in front of Jesus on the day he gave his life. whipped with whips, beaten, spit on, kicked, mocked, striped, stabbed with a knife.

There was sweat, there was blood, his skin was torn. Yet he was innocent from the day he was born.

He had never sinned, not one dark spot.his blood so pure, in every drop.

He too was tempted until he was slain. But had not one link from Satan's chain.

There is Christ dieing upon Calvary's hill. He knew all along that it was in gods will.

He took off his robe and then he wore ours. He was covered in sin on that day in the hour.

Why did he do this, he took all my sin. I was not born, my life didn't even begin.

Standing here before the cross. Why was i gone, why was I lost?

With a clear mind I still can not grasp. Such great love future, present, and past.

God opens his hands, he gives us a choice. Be of the world, or come follow his voice.

There's a fork in the road, which way will you choose? Follow the world and you will surely loose.

Follow Christ's way, follow the blood. Remember that day, remember his love.

Remember the thorns, remember the spike. How Jesus hung and gave his life.

Dear father I fully accept
Dear Satan I fully reject

Now in your mind, think of souls that are astray. But think of gods love, come on let's pray.

Dear heavenly father, thank you so much for all that you have done for us. Father what great love you have given us by sending your only son to die for us. How he had lived a perfect life and yet still sacrificed himself for us. Lord we know he could have cried out to you to be taken away but he chose not to. I thank you father for such a love. Father I pray that we help those that are lost. Father please help us to be strong and faithful. Father winning souls for you is so important, we should not let opportunities pass us by. For a lost soul that passes away is a soul away from you for eternity. Father I know we all have free will, but I pray others would come forth to you with an open heart, as well as others going out to witness to show their love and faithfulness to you. Father I thank you and I love you with all my heart. In jesus's name I pray amen.
