Don't Deny Christ

Sin abounded in my life,
And I cared for no one but me.
To everyone I knew I brought strife,
And all my friends, from me, did flee.

I walked the road most traveled,
And wickedness was my closest companion.
All love in my life I unraveled,
As I marched on to that infernal canyon.

Salvation to me, they did preach,
But I loved sin and my wicked ways.
To God's Cross I refused to reach,
And denied Him to the end of my days.

You reap what you sow,
And I sowed death and hate,
My life was filled with great woe,
And I eventually met a grisly fate.

Suddenly I appeared before a Judgement Seat,
And my heart was filled with great fear.
For I could already feel the consuming heat,
As Hell's grasping claws drew near.

A voice then echoed and boomed,
Saying, "You denied My saving grace
And now your soul is doomed
To live eternity in a Hellish place."

In the blink of an eye,
I was cast out of His glorious presence.
Oh' how I did cry,
Now that Hell was my permanent residence.

Do not live your life as I did.
But to His cross you must turn.
Then you will truly live,
Or in Hell, with me, you will burn.
