(I love the Bible from beginning to end, but one of my favorite books is Esther. I love the true tale of this courageous woman and how God used her protect His people.)
For Such a Time as This
by Me
To Esther it must have seemed,
like something she had dreamed,
She was an orphan girl made queen,
This young lady was also a Jew,
But that last fact nobody knew.
The king's official made a plan,
to kill all the Jews in the land,
Approaching the king Esther dared,
to ask for her people to be spared.
The king decided his official's fate,
but to Esther this man clung,
which made the king even more irate,
On his gallows the man was hung.
Fear God and keep His command,
For who can stand
against His mighty hand?
(Thanks for reading and God bless.)
