Go Speak of repentance , that turns hearts from sin
that terrible creature and killer of men
Speak of his judgements , what he said is right
Then preach of atonement , how scarlet’s made white.
Tell Of the hammer that drove the nails through
And tell them he did this for All and for you.
Speak of his bleeding , his torture , our shame
then witness remission of sins in his name.
Tell of his victory over deaths gloom
witness the truth , of our lords empty tomb
preach of King Jesus who came from above .
And his promised kingdom that’s built of his love
witness of healings , how blind could then see
Tell of cleansed lepers and sinners set free
tell of the dead who he raised up to life
and tell them of peace he gives even in strife
tell them of mammon to share with the poor
the king said to give and he’ll bless them With more
Tell them of treasures in heaven behold , treasure that fades not , where men grow not old
speak of the Father the spirit and son.
Tell them his promise and that HE is one
Emplore them to follow and Bid them come Near
then tell them He’s coming some day , in some year .
and if they will hear you , then praise his great name
And go out some elsewhere and do all the same !”
