I need to scream but I have no mouth
I wish to vent but they have no hearing
I’m trapped in this fleshly prison of my own
Digging in my skin for anything that’s spiritual
But all I find are sins I thought were forgiven
Sins I thought were thrown into the depth of the sea
With my bloody eyes I see what’s no longer there
It’s a lie that has been softly whispered into my ears.
