I see you there hung on a tree, the tears fell down then I was free. Was in the dark trapped in the night, saw a spark and saw the light.now there's shame a spot with in, it's killing me a spot of sin. Who am I that you should love, a space within a place above. You gave a gift with love and grace, all I see is shame on my face. In my eye I see the infection, I can't stand my own reflection. David defeated one huge man, sins beating me I can hardly stand. Jesus hung there bloody and pale, how can we sin why do we fail. I am not worthy to be above the dirt below you shoes, for the man that I am and all that I do. How do you forgive me I don't know, temptation and sin why can't they go. The sin in my lungs it can not remain, when I look in the mirror I want to see change. Satan whispers that there is no bother, but I sin against you please forgive me father. Please wash me clean and make me whole, may I rest in your hands mind body and soul. This sin in my life I can not slay, but with your strength please father I pray. Beaten punched Satan gives me a kick, broke ribs and blood when I spit. The worst is when I hear him laugh, but I reach to you for a hand to grasp. For matter the struggle I know I am weak, but I still stand for you and am placed on my feet. Jacob keep fighting the words that you say, ask for forgiveness and then turn away. This sin in my life is an obstacle, but through you anything is possible.
I have been struggling with smoking. I started smoking cigarettes at 14. I switched to a vape a while back, not that it's any better. When I rededicated my life smoking stopped for a long time. These last couple months I fell into temptation. I don't like the man I see in the mirror and want to change him. Please pray for me
