Greed, Lust and power drive humanity towards self-destruction.

War, rebellions, and uprisings rip nations apart; tearing apart families.
A boy no older than ten rifle in hand; ripped from his mother’s arms forced to shoot his family down.
Survival is the game, kill or be killed. His Innocence stolen to feed the lust of wicked men; a future ripped
from his gasp to fuel their power struggle.

Nation against nation; neighbor against neighbor; brother against brother, it’s the reality we face.
The Devil aggressively at work tearing apart sought after peace.
Famine, poverty and death are the end game.
Tear streak down the dirty, starved cheeks of children.
Desperate mothers sell their bodies to feed their kids, horrendous acts often ignored.
Hopelessness, uncertain future faces them.

Alcohol, drug and sexual abuse run rampant.
Deadly as a bullet, sharp as a blade; weapons for a different kind of warfare,
a never ending battle of self-destruction and death.
An escape from the storms and struggles of life,
searching for happiness finding only emptiness;
the lonely, the rejected, the misguided looking for a sense for belonging.

A young woman works the corner, needle marks scar her arm.
Desperate measures to get her nest fix. She gets into the car.
A killer; eyes cold and emotionless points the barrel at the frightened victim,
Deserted by his father, raised by a gang, violence is all he knows.
He will pull the trigger, blood will be shed, a life lost.
Shunned and rejected by society,
Both loved by God.

As earth descends into darkness; humanity spirals downhill in self-destruction.
A second battle is fought unseen on earth,
Two forces interlocked in a struggle for souls.
Forces representing Heaven and Hell; live and death.
God and Satan facing off in a showdown of faith.

Hatred, racism, and discrimination only a sample Satan deploys.
Tools to ruin, break and destroy lives; too make lives miserable.
Day and night, working overtime to fill his dominion of Hell,
Discouraging salvation of the unsaved; too discredit Christ followers.
He smiles when faith is lost, and angered at the faithful.
Battle is lost, yet he carries on deceiving believer and non –alike.

Makes me cry, I fell into some of those categories before I surrendered my life to Christ....and now I'm redeemed....and that makes me cry again..,

Very poignant man. A bit of a gloomy one but that's life, it's not always sunshine and roses, it has its bad side to it while evil is in the world. Like you said; horrendous acts often ignored. So respect to you for saying it. However, no sin is hidden from God, everyone will have to answer for their sins one day and nothing unrepented of will not go unpunished.

Romans 12:19 KJV Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Matt. 24:6-7 You shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

Matthew 10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

II Tim. 3:13 Evil men and seducers shall wax [grow] worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
