"The Arthritic Crone"
Ah my bones seems to creek
as I awake and stumble to me feet.
My toes bend like an arthritic
crone, Oh how I moan.
Dare I admit I am falling apart
Pieces of my body seem to expand
and are antique contraband.
I need Pliers these days to trim a toe nail
And Nair, to control mustaches and chin hair.
One Tiny hair stubble, upon my chin,
Seems to dot that landscape from within.
I feel like a surgeon performing brain surgery
when I pluck that teeny hair out of my chin.
Feels like I just got a ticket to win.
I feel the same about my chin hair,
When I no longer am all hairy like a
big ol' teddy bear.
