After defeating Tibni and his supporters
He took the throne of Israel.
He established a dynasty without knowing
it was God's will for it to happen.

The judgement of God against
the proud and wicked Northern Kingdom began.
Omri began his rule making a fatal mistake
by unifying the house of Israel with Zidon.
The fatal marriage between his son Ahab
and the evil Jezebel was already arranged.

Elijah is summoned by God
to deal with his son Ahab.
Samaria became the capital
after his father left Tirzah behind.
Ahab's kingdom was a spiral of wrongdoings
that ended up collapsing the nation.

After his father's death,
Ahaziah took over the reigns of the kingdom.
However, his rule was challenged by Moab.
The Syrian threat was also a headache for his rule.
After a short-lived regency, his brother replaced him.

Jehoram took his father's place
in the moment Elisha was in office.
He wanted to make sure
to fulfill Elijah's important mission.
The war against Moab was imminent;
their alliance with Edom was unexpected.
However, it was Ben-Hadad's invasion
that caused Joram and Elisha to cross paths.

Unbeknowst to them,
God had already chosen his vessel.
Justice was going to be served
under the hands of Jehu, commander of the army.

The foolish Ahaziah, King of Judah
and the idolater King of Israel joined forces.
Little did they know both of them
would die by the hands of the new King.
Jehu finished with their lives
and exterminated the House of Ahab forever.

During the time of such tragic events
Ataliah seized her chance to take Judah's throne.
She murdered Ahaziah's sons
without knowing Joash was spared by Jehoiada.
