TURN, COME, RISE by Byron Gene Mace (based on a Bible Study: ISAIAH and Isaiah 53.2-6) [June 17, 2015 Draft 9]
Turn aside from rebellion
Chase after His loving-kindness;
Glue yourself to His side
That bled from broken heart,
To Him-Who died.
Turn from your dark acquaintance
From the path into the world
Taken over by the prince of dark spaces,
Turn from those-who'd lead you
Into dry places.
Come to the heart-Healer,
The Word Inscriber Who engraves
With His Right Finger
His Word upon
Your once-stony heart.
Rise to live in your place
Bought by the price He paid
To lift you to sit beside Him
Redeemed by His Grace
To reign with Him in His glory and power
Turn to His loving-kindness
Turn to see His face
Rise to sit beside Him
Until your journey through time and space has ended and you
Come to be united to your Husband Christ the King
