I hear what you’re saying but the question is, am I really listening?

I see what you’re showing me but the question is, am I really paying attention?

I say i understand what you’re saying but the question is, do I really ?

I say I know what you mean but the question is, do I really know exactly what you mean?

How can you hear Him if you’re not really listening?

How can you see what He sees if you’re not willing to pay any attention?

How can you understand anything He says if you never asked Him for understanding?

How can you say you know what He means if you don't really know?
