New List

1. I'm a terrible housekeeper....ie Hate cleaning.....quite a clutter bug....- need to work on that...

2. Been prayer married by God one year exactly today.....I love my tourist.

3. Can not be very sympathetic when I think people can do better than they have and complain about their situations.

4. I can be very hard on myself and other people....have chased quite a few fellas off over the years because of my strong personality.

5. I love my family with a passion and very protective of them, but again can be hard on them too....I don't hold grudges against them but can get my feelings hurt. by them.

6. I love having fun and laughing and being happy even when the situation may not warrant any of those things.... I suppose at times I am somewhat annoying....

7. A few years ago....2008 I realized I am somewhat of a control freak...not a really bad one but a micro managing one.... I am glad I realized it because I have tried to work on it as it can be a problem.....

8. I love animals but learned I don't have the energy to take care of a dog....Really love cats because they put you on ignore and I can do the same with them and we both like it. Plus they can sleep up to 16 hours a day and don't demand every waking moment of your time for attention.

9. I love being married and having someone to fuss over and cook for. Meals are healthier than eating out of a can like I did a lot when single....but then again I can get in a rut and have a hard time thinking up things to cook after not doing it for so long.... New recipes are fun to try though and have been doing that lately.

10. I have been out of work for over 2 years and do not want to go back to a real job. Have not received any government assistance or unemployment...saved a nickel or two and have been living off that this time period....hubby works just kind of been retired and waiting to hit 62 for social security check....

More info than you even wanted.....

1. I love being Christian. And being at this site, because for all our similarities/differences we are all interesting, yet we have one thing in common. No matter what our backgrounds, we all have Christ. I think it would be cool if we could all get together someday.

2. Music has been a lifelong passion for me. Listening, playing...I'm almost always listening to something.

3. As many hard knocks as I've had, I realize they are our best teacher. I'ts truly the only way to look at it.

4. I'm an introvert who over the years is getting close to being an extrovert. Never saw that coming, but the Myers-Briggs test don't lie!

5. In a day or two, it will be 7 years without any alcohol. I used to be a lush, for many different reasons. Now I am just fine without it.

6. I'm loving the relaxing, freedom of being single. All the hobbies I've always desired I can now do without problems. Building an old school hot rod, my way, lovin' it!

7. I'm studying male/female relationship dynamics. My next relationship I will be prepared for. How to distinguish troublesomeness and instead find someone like me. At least more compatible. I didn't realize how blinded by the world I was.

8. I've recently reunited with an old best friend. We've both been through storms, but we've learned a lot too.

9. Trying to squeeze in quality time with my daughter. She's 14, stays to herself a lot, but it's a good thing. She's quite a writer, lots of things she has written. And I believe she is going to have a much better start in life than I did. That makes me happy and proud. She's a great gal...

10. I'm running out of things to say, so #10 will be my optimistic future line. lol.

8) i grew up in church. pentecostal. Assemblies of God.

9) i only talk on the phone with a specific person :) everybody else knows to text me instead of calling me. lol

10) from my teen years til about 25 years old, i was a loner at church. i helped out and stuff, but i felt like i didn't have a single friend there. then again, i never welcomed people (from church) into my life. it was a tough time.

chickwithsticks,

I've always dislike onions, but several years ago I found out that I'm allergic to onions....does that make it legit? lol

Jeremy,

Whenever I meet someone new and during our conversation I find out they're a Christian, I get excited and then typically we both feel a connection....it's a great feeling! Being a Christian is indeed awesome!!!

You might borrow a line from a guy I know of. He liked to play golf but couldn't play it well, he said. When he went out for a round he said he was going to go commit golf. Apparently he played so badly that it was a crime.

Sometimes when I go upstairs to fiddle with a soundtrack-in-progress I say I'm going to go commit music.

So what you're saying is...

You're buying me a cello?

No way, but you might borrow my uncle Fred's. He'll only let you use it if he trusts you, but he can talk to someone for five minutes and know whether or not he can trust the person.

You do know you retained the quote tag, right? Anyone clicks on it, it'll take them to a quote that is far different from what you claim I said. :p

1. I love the Seahawks and am an avid sports fan

2. My grandfather was a Pentecostal preacher and his prayers/sermons are still very influential for me.

3. While I don't play an instrument, I grew up in a family of musicians and have a soft spot for the bluegrass music I grew up around.

4. I love the southern vernacular. Anyone who has talked to me can verify that.

5. I was in FFA in high school and originally planned to be an Agriculture teacher before I lost my sight.

6. Speaking of which, due to an unusual disease of the corneas, I lost my sight as a young adult and have since had 5 cornea transplants which have given me almost perfect sight. Unfortunately, the transplants don't always last as long as one would hope for.

7. I am a bit of a trivia nut (as alaynaj can attest to). but I also enjoy playing games, both cards and others.

8. I wrote a proclamation that Gov. Mike Huckabee signed which made October smokeless tobacco month in Arkansas.

9. I have a heart for singles ministry, and have led several studies. I currently am involved in my church's men's ministry and church-wide communication/marketing.

10. I have a hard time finding shoes. I wear a size 17.

1) I love animals and I own a ridiculous amount of them!

2) But I love kids, and people even more.

3) I'm on my way to owning a certified dog kennel, and becoming a professional dog trainer.

4) I am likened to David, I was that child out in the field with the sheep singing and writing to Yahweh.

5) I love Yahweh more than anything, and I desire to live my life serving Him through everything I do, everyday of my life.

6) I come across as outgoing and bold, but inwardly sometimes I feel SO SHY that it will kill me! Haha (At my extremes I have to exit the room and get away from people to pull myself together)

7) I relate to Paul who spoke about all the things he has been through and has learned to praise Yahweh despite the circumstances. (Basically I've lived with much, and little. During the good years in abundance, and at our worse barely without our basics and homeless)

8) I smile a lot, even when I'm angry, even through tears.

9) I look for people to encourage on a regular basis.

10) I've had to be a "mom supplement" for my siblings since I was 12yrs old because of my mom's absence.
