So, I didn't die in my sleep, and that's a happy thing.
I didn't crash my van on my drive into town this morning, OR on the way home, so that's good, too.
I didn't get run over in the parking lot at Starbucks, so I'm pretty stoked about that.
I didn't lose my debit card when I dropped my purse outside the dentist's office, YAY!
I didn't have a helicopter crash into my living room while I was gone...which I'm pretty thankful for.
I haven't had any allergic reactions to my new perfume, so I'm totally celebrating that one.

Basically, of all the things that COULD have gone wrong in your day, what are you glad DIDN'T go wrong?

Yes, I know this is ridiculous. Thank you.

I didn't oversleep this morning.
I didn't get cynical with anybody at work, despite the hectic-ness today.
I didn't drop my glasses in the toilet.

I'm glad when I walked out of my house this morning a piano didn't drop on my head.

Which is ironic, since I live below a pianist who is constantly throwing bad piano "pieces" out his window.

(Okay, in my head that joke was funny, but now that I typed it out, it is profoundly horrible).

On a related note: I am glad we are only allowed to type one bad joke per post (oh wait, that is two bad jokes now - I give up!!!).

I could write a long list of things.
But not waking up dead is already good enough of a deal for me. :)

* I didn't get hit by a car apparently too busy and too important to stop and move to the side for an emergency vehicle in full lights and sirens mode and nearly sideswiped at least 4 other cars in the process.

* I didn't die from laughing at Catherder's Dare Game and all who participated. (But I might yet.)

* I didn't get flack from Shouryu for cooking well-done beef tonight. (Oh snap, he doesn't know yet...)

I didn't sleep well... Oh, wait, I'm supposed to write something I'm thankful for?

I didn't wake up with one less cat because my dog was picking on her.

* I didn't have to work today.

* Of course, I obviously didn't get anything done today, either. Doggone all you clever people with insanely hilarious threads and posts...

I'm glad I remembered to close my car's windows because its going to rain buckets tonight and tomorrow (I always leave them slightly open because it gets hot during the day - yes, even in december!).

I'm glad no one has tried to break into my car even though I leave the windows slightly open.

I'm glad I remembered to buy new front tires today because my old ones were completely bald (the rear ones are still new).

But on the cool side, you could have also woken up with an awesome robotic arm...

Because after all, you can live with just one kidney.

(There's a song with a line about selling your kidneys on the internet... "Dumb Ways to Die".)
