I cant dance, I will just stick with hiding in the kitchen cooking something good to eat. Actually if a disco song comes on, I can dance like I learned from scooby doo.....lol it may sound funny but when I was little I won a dance competition because a disco song came on and the others were doing the Macarena.....kids didnt know what disco was.....my knees were not the same after sliding on the cement, but hey my bumper car driving improved.....i think thats how I learned to avoid accidents lol

I may have never gone on a date, but I ruined many first dates....never let your date meet your little brother....one got cake thrown at them, another got hit in the head with a 2 by 4 because he was hurting my sister or something.....I was only 2 if that.

Get dancing lessons. It'll be worth it the first time you dazzle some young lady with your awesome Fred Astaire moves.

Dating tip for girls who may want to dance with me: bring steel toed shoes.
Ya know, one of my most fondest memories was a first "friend" date with a guy named Charlie. He was a friend from work. A bunch of us decided to go hear a band in town and when a slow song was played, Charlie asked me to dance. He led me so well, it was like I hardly moved my feet, I was gliding in his arms. It was honestly magical but I had just met someone else. So you know how that goes. Anyhoo, I've never since danced with a man like I did with Charlie.

DATING TIP: Guys - learn to lead a lady around the dance floor. :D

I´m not against online dating! (on the contrary)

I´m convinced they are prophylactic (except the moment a "dated" person loves to fart or seldom likes to have a daily shower).

Since I dated and would have married a person because of the way she was, one good place to observe ppl´s behavior is a FORUM (Of course, every place could be lied... But here you´ve get those clues and red flags)

Yep but dancing Charlie didn't get the girl...did he? :(
Only because I had started dating someone else. But Dancing Charlie made me remember him the rest of my life.

Awwww... yes, that's true. But we probably wouldn't have lasted because as you may recall from another thread, I liked to play pirates and go treasure hunting. Did I say liked, as in past tense? I still do! So you see, I wasn't right for Dancing Charlie. He was too classy for me. ROFLMHO!!! :D

But if he's still out there pining away, this ecard is for him:

Seriously though, I praise God for the husband I had. He was my best friend and the most fun exploration partner any girl could hope for. We would ride everywhere on his bike and seek out places to explore; old abandoned houses, barns, railroad cars, old bridges, cemeteries, etc. He even rigged up sections of pvc pipe on his bike so we could mount our untralight fishing rods and we'd look for out of the way fishing holes. (He always out fished me tho! LOL!) And what a star gazer he was! We spent a lot of time up on a hill with his telescope and tried to catch every meteor shower. And he had a crazy awesome sense of humor and we would laugh till we cried. Yep, he was the pirate I always dreamed of.

Who didn´t like this movie?

She, by the way, was the one who chose him first... She led him, a lot, until the last time.

Yes!

I have seen that movie, too.

Have you realized that, your BIO could be a best seller?

Have U seen those beautiful things you have written could be loved, is they were written in a book? (not only in those posts, Madam)

Thank you, brother. Yes, I have thought about it. But I've only revealed mostly pleasant things on this board. Interwoven with the beautiful things are just as many dark and gruesome pictures and the fiery trials and the falling down times. If the Lord wants me to write, He'd have to show me how to do it in a way that glorifies Him in all of those situations, good and bad. I don't know how to do it myself.

No doubts He will tell!

If I showed my life, picturing only those good things Disneys lies, I -by no means- could be richer than them. :)

Thanks for letting me see the best picture of the surface of it, then.

This isnt mine but its my brothers story. He was 15 and it was his first proper date so our dad gave him a load of money for it. The girl was like hella posh so he took her to her into town and bought her loads of presents and then took her to this really fancy restruant and they went to the theatre to see a ballet. At the end of the date she turned round and said to him that shes sorry but he has just wasted all that money on her cos all she wanted was a good night and shed never date him cos hes to much of a nerd. This just makes me feel so happy inside. Hes chill with it though so its ok.

Definitely. Good story line.

Made me cry, in a good way. :)

I wished I could see your tears

I wish I could wipe them away,

I wish I could draw you near,

that nothing would lead you stray.
