The difference between dating and courtship is attitude. People court to find a spouse, and date to get laid.
Please parden the possibly foul language.
Only an idiot decides after a few months whether someone is worth marrying or not. That of course is assuming the person isn't into dugs or unfaithful. The other thing is most often people date multiple people at the same time, playing the field hoping they've improved the odds. Courtship is focused on one person and only one person. If they decide it isn't a good match they move on.
LOL Now not EVERYONE dates to get laid! (pardon me as well)
Sometimes, people use the characteristics of courtship, but call it dating. It's all in the attitude and how the two in the relationship come about it. No matter which term you use, it's how you appraoch the relationship. Whether you date or court (?) there is no guarantee it's going to end in marriage.
It's not :
Dating/courtship=marriage
It's :
Gods Will = marriage
Sometimes, things happen that just can't be controlled. There is no way to tell what will happen in the future. I don't personally see anything wrong wth dating someone, as long as you do it the RIGHT way and leave it all in God's hands.
