How would your 10 year old self feel about you now? Like if your self at 10 years old could see you right now...do you think he/she would be disappointed or happy with how your life is?
Do you think he/she would want you to change anything? Or do you think they would be surprised at how well you turned out to be? ;)

I'm trying to think about my 10 year old self and how I was back then. Definitely immature, like any other 10 year old, but I was a Christian. So I think I would be happy that I am involved with church and have a good relationship with Jesus. But I don't think I would be too happy that I have problems being social. Ironically my 10 year old self was very friendly and talkative. It wasn't until 5th grade (age 11) that I starting becoming more reserved and socially awkward.

So yeah...let me know what y'all think...it's just a fun discussion thread. :)

Thats a really interesting question. My ten year old self would be mad at me for a few things.....like, I am almost 30 and still havent traveled the world, or jumped out of a plane and Im not as wealthy as he would like. Everthing else though, my ten year old self would totally dig I think. After all, I still have the same mentality for the most part. The only things that changed were things I had to change to survive and present myself as an adult. I will never truly grow up anyway. My body might age but this donkey ain't aging on the inside.

I honestly think I would surprise myself with where I am at in life. I don't mean that in a bad way. Ever since I was old enough to attend school I always had crushes on boys. What I mean is that I was always forward and they didn't have a choice whether to like me or not. I guess you can say I was a little flirt. Lol. I am blessed I am not the same person and growing to appreciate men for who they are in Christ rather than whether they are cute and adorable. I never would have thought I had to face the challenges I have, but I also don't regret them because they made me stronger in Christ. For wisdom comes with age so I am looking forward to the next chapter God has in store for me

Oh wow, my ten year old self was really into reading mysteries and playing pirates and creating adventures & was fascinated with intriguing and eccentric characters in movies & stories.

So yes, she would so appreciate who she turned out to be. And she'd especially love that I enjoy making people smile and that I still like to run & climb & look for adventure.

My ten year old self would probably want to hang out at my house all the time and read all my books and rearrange my furniture. She'd be disappointed that the place isn't decked out in brighter colors. She'd be happy to see that I haven't lost the quirkiness. She'd be bummed to know I don't spend more time playing in the snow, but happy that I still do a lot of creative type stuff.

And then she'd say something super sassy to me and I'd give her a high five. And some money so she could go buy ice cream from the ice cream truck because she-I-we?- never got to.

My 10 year old self would be happy to hear that Happy Meals still taste nasty.
McDonald's stays true to their formula after all these years.

.....and the toys that come with them, still break after playing with them once.

She'd be upset about one thing, but I'd tell her it's okay. Maybe I'd tell her a few stories, or give her a letter so that she wouldn't spend the next part of her life freaking out about it.

I can't do that, can I?

Happy bday Mitspa!!

My 10 year old self would be disappointed that I still haven't married one of my childhood crushes: Westlife boys. She probably wouldn't understand how I ended up who I am. She had no idea about Christianity then so she probably won't believe, I'm her. I'd tell her, if she wanted a better result, she'd have to start seeking God ASAP.

How would your 10 year old self feel about you now?
Lol I'd probably just want a fudgsicle and to go play tetherball. I can't see 10 yr old me, in all my tender naivete, really forming a coherent opinion of present me, in all my not-so-tender ignorance.

Happy bday Mitspa!!

Me at 10 would be glad I'm still single. Me at 10 wouldn't understand how great it is that I don't have a lot of credit card debt, but he would get the general idea it's a good thing. Me at 10 would think it is awesome that I can do so many neat music things with a keyboard and computer, but he wouldn't see the attraction of spending free time with old records.
