Well, as long as those dolls... are action figures. :) I never liked dolls and never owned a Barbie doll in my life. Nothing against them, just not my thing at all.

I was much more interested in my brother's toys than "girl" things, and was excited when we both got lightsabers for Christmas one year. I was always into pretending I was shooting something or striking it down... I usually chose comic books, Legos, and play guns over most "girl" toys any day.

As far as "giggling" over "boys", sure, I used to do that... when I was in about 6th grade. ;)
Wow!! We could've been best friends growing up!! Though I did have a barbie... as I said before, I am and always have been easily entertained... but I always favored my cousin's toys (like Star Wars, GI Joe, Transformers, etc)...

But I still giggle talking about boys... yep... I'm shameless... hehehehehehehehe

Ah, Carol... a girl after my own heart.

I loved those cartoons (GI Joe, Transformers, MASK, etc.) after school and I loved the original Transformers toys, though my brother wouldn't let me touch his for fear of breaking them instead of "transforming" them (well hey... having an arm missing counts as a "transformation", doesn't it???)

I also found out that it was much more interesting to just go and try to TALK to the boys instead of giggling over them... and if you were really nice to them, they might even let you look at their Legos, Transformers, and comic books!! :D

Oh Seoul... I never had problems talking to boys... some of my best friends are guys... however, up until this day, whenever there's a boy I fancy, I turn into a wall... it's terrible... it's like I just try to not look interested at all cause I'm so sure he wouln't want anything with me.... it's pathetic... so yeah... I just giggle from afar... :)

That's the nice thing about food. It never rejects you.

Carol, let's go giggle and fancy... over a giant pizza. :)

I have to agree with your brother seoulsearch. Break one of my transformers, it would be very tempting for me to break something of yours. Maybe a toy, maybe something else... >.>

Hey I liked my transformers. Especially the one headmaster I had.

No ..its a good word..:) Its kinda a southern word, in my mind :)
Oh... ok... I have no concept of what's southern or northern... what's old or new... what's from a region or from the other... I watch too much television and read books... so I just use what I remember and think fits the sentence... hehehehehe

If I ever say something wrong, and even if I say a bad word that I shouldn't, please, correct me... I've done it before... many times... hehehehe

Once I said a word considered a curse and I had no idea it was actually a curse... so not cool!!

I don't recall you saying anything inappropriate, Carol :). I should add, though, that if I HAD seen you say something odd, I probably would have thought to myself "well, English is her second language; she probably didn't know the exact meaning of that word", and ignored it, since you seem charitable about things. I'll try to let you know, though, if I see something that's considered offensive, etc. :).

Thank you, Jilly!! I really appreciate it... :)

It was in such an occasion that I learned the term "dang"... I said the bad version of it just after a service in a friend's church in Kentucky... they looked at me like I had grown a second head... I was so embarassed... and hardly anything makes me feel like that...

I hang out mainly in the chat rooms. I used to do Elmo impressions. Who am I?

To be completely honest, when I first read Catherder's post about me, I thought, "Well... Maybe it's a 'subtle' hint that I should stop writing threads... Because I guess that's how I really sound to people?" I know it was all in fun but I did take it into serious consideration. I don't like the thought of wasting people's time.

Like most people here, I've considered leaving CC on and off throughout the years for various reasons... But, I always figure my writings can always be put on "Ignore" or there is always the option to not read them.

But I'm always extremely grateful to the people who read and, even more importantly to me, provide their own insights. :)
Oh dear! Now I feel bad! I actually came back to this thread to make a post explaining that I was poking a little fun at the length of your posts and was not implying that you had nothing important to say. Then I saw that you took the joke rather well and I didn't feel it was needed.

Your post lengths have been the subject of good natured (hopefully interpreted that way) ribbing over the last couple of years that I have been on here. It looks like you and most others understood the humor, but I am sorry if some did not and were offended.

No we love your posts Kimmie, even Cat does. I will vouch for him even though I havent talked to him about this and will say i know he didnt mean it that way. Cat herder has a huge heart.

I was talking more about situations involving cruel intentions. Catherder is specifically excluded from my statement, because I know he is not one of those. As I said, the people I am talking about already know who they are. Nothing further needs said, because they are going to shut up now :p.
Thanks, DF.

Is there any IT people on here who can explain to me what benefit trolls derive from posting & asking for advice only to drag people along for 20-some pages? They don't take anyone's advice, they just keep adding new details and get everyone buzzed about their situation and keep the thread in active play for days and days. What do they gain by it? Can someone please tell me??
