Fancy, actually, is more of a UK word. They use it to describe a romantic interest in a person, "Do you fancy him?" or a desire for something, "Fancy a cup of tea?" etc.

How come nobody does me? I need a "safe place" because no one has done me. I am being discriminated against and I demand my own chat room category.

Fancy is also used in India to mean the same thing.
