Ok lads! There was a thread on if the ladies liked long hair or preferred short hair on their man. Now it's your turn! Do you like short hair on girls or long hair?

Ladies, you can cast your vote too if you like long or short hair for yourself (or on other girls too).

Personally I loooooooove the look and feel of long hair. I have very thick wavy hair and I've been keeping it short for nearly 10 years (like we're talking mohwak short) because it was easier to maintain. Now I've been letting it grow and it's at my collar bone. It's a lot of work having longer hair. One word: POOF!

I have thick, curly hair (but I straighten it sometimes). They aren't tight ringlets, more loose. I had it pretty long for a while (my lower-ish back) but I donated it in October and now it's a little longer than shoulder length. I don't mind it being shorter/medium, but I do miss my long hair. I tend to go in cycles: I will grow my hair out, and after a while get bored and tired of it so I get it cut, then miss my long hair and vow not to cut it again, and so on. I tend to like it longer, though. I feel you on the "POOF" aspect. One morning I had just gotten up and my mom said, "Your hair looks like a clown!" Gee, thanks mom.

I think long and short hair both look good on girls. I'm with Tintin though in that I don't like super long. Anything that goes lower than someone's back seems a bit too long in my opinion. It also, like Wood-Note said, depends on their face, and even sometimes their personality. I could never pull off a pink pixie cut (I'm not even close to being bold enough to do that!) but many girls can.

I can't believe I just wrote two paragraphs about hair.

On girls anything except a really short cut
On myself: long. I am planning on growing it out to about the middle of my back~ about 4 inches more to go

Man I'm afraid I'll be single for the rest of my life at this rate the thread is going. I have to have short-ish hair (like not going beyond my chin or shoulder. Though right now my hair is beyond my shoulders and looking baaad. >.<) and have it kinda styled because I don't look very good with long hair at all. I don't mind having long hair but it's just not that flattering on me. I know, it sounds vain to say that (I'm not very vain, though, considering my typical outfit is t-shirt or hoodie with jeans, and I don't even bother with makeup). But my hair is just not healthy and I don't look as nice when it's long.

I have always had medium length hair..It takes a great deal of time for my hair to grow.I have never tried longer than a few inches past shoulder length. Seriously,I cannot picture myself with long hair(I think I might look mature) and it requires a lot of patience to maintain a long hair.

I have no preference between short hair or long hair on a woman, as long as it is not fuller, thicker, and shinier than mine!!! My personal hair-dresser would not appreciate his work being "shown up" by a woman's nicer hair!!!

depends on the hair really. If it's like wavy or curly it's a crime not to have it long. I picked medium because aside from my fore mentioned exception I prefer medium or short.

Definately longer hair. There are very few women i find attractive with short hair. I know i'm supposed to be all 'spiritual' and say 'it doesn't matter long as she loves the Lord', but not true for me. I likely would not get involved with someone with short hair. I just don't like it.
