It doesn't hurt to pray about the most mundane things...

I make things with wood in my spare time, and for a long time I've wanted a decent bandsaw. With a nice tax refund expected, I went looking and found a good model for a good price. I picked it up after receiving my refund (get the money first, then spend it!) and brought it home. Because I would need to move it around my shop, I realized I would need a mobile base, so I went looking.

On Monday I found the right thing at "Canadian Tire"... a chain store that sells such things. It's the only shop within 60 miles that had one, but the price was more than I was wanting to pay. So, knowing that CT has weekly sales, I prayed... "Lord, perhaps You could have this go on sale soon." Well, the flyer came out on Thursday, but that item wasn't listed. So I checked the web site. Bingo... half price! So I went and picked up said mobile base, and my bandsaw will not be stuck in the corner. God is good! :)

I saw Beauty and the Beast last night, I really liked it. I'm almost sure it's a chick flick but it was good. My Daughter liked it too. I admit I'm a sucker for Disney Princess movies. These live action movies they're making are making me happy. Cinderella, Beauty and The Beast. I liked Beauty and The Beast more than Cinderella.

It's a good thing I had a boy and a girl because I have a chick to take to the movies with me. My Husband hates musicals, when I asked my 11 year old Son if he wanted to go he said, umm, it's a Princess movie. So that was a no. 6 or so years ago that kid would have gone, now he's to cool.

He'll go see movies like Toy Story but if it involves kissing without action heros or space, he's not into it. He's got a reputation to protect you know. I'm just kidding about the reputation part. He did see Sing with us and liked it.

I hate musicals too! I'll watch chick flicks all day long... in fact, I might even prefer them, but someone would have to pay me to watch a musical!

A 70 hour work shift? Is that even possible? I mean yeah, with enough red bull you can overcome anything, but 70 hours straight?

I get to sleep, guys…

I get paid a slightly lesser rate for sleep hours. The problem is they wake up all night so even though I sleep, I get very little sleep.
