[h=1]The Pope is Afraid to Speak the Truth Publicly.[/h]
Take note and listen carefully to what JESUS said “He who cannot carry his cross and follow Me is not worthy Me”. Here JESUS is saying that he who cannot stand on the truth ( the word of GOD) and speak it out is not worth of HIM. This is because when you stand on the truth (GOD’s words) and speak it out; you will be persecuted because of the truth as JESUS was persecuted because HE stand on the truth and speak it out and HE was persecuted and killed.

Now concerning the Pope. No one sent him to go to South America and judge people because no human beings have the right to judge except GOD who is the Father and Lord of Heavens and Earth. Saying the truth does not meant that you are judging. The pope as a servant of God should not see evil and be afraid to say it out as he did in South America. He was afraid to say that Homosexuality is an evil and an abomination to GOD. Now that he did not say this, the homosexuality peoples will think that what they are doing is right.

Look at JESUS in the Bible who is our perfect example and our LORD; whenever He sees anything wrong or evil He speak it out and whenever we do something evil He tell us that what we are doing is evil. JESUS was not afraid to speak the truth all the time. And all true servants of GOD must not be afraid to speak the truth. For example, when the Pharisees were doing evil things and were pretending, JESUS directly says to them that they were Hypocrites. HE was not afraid to tell them the truth. Also when JESUS entered the temple and it was made a market place, He did not stay silence but He act immediately and destroyed the market in His temple.

Another example is that if a child is doing something wrong and the parents stay quiet without telling him/her that what he/she is doing is wrong, the child will continue doing it because he/she think it is right. So, the pope should have done the same by telling the Homosexuality peoples directly that what they are doing is evil and an abomination to GOD.

The pope need to go to JESUS who is our LORD and learn from HIM because a true servant of GOD will never see evil and be quiet since his mission is to save souls by bringing people to JESUS by making them to live by the words of GOD.

I thank JESUS for HE is with us and HE has never leaved us alone. HE said “I am with you always, to the close of the age”. We should stand only on His words and live by the words.

GOD bless you all and your entire families; don’t let anyone lead you astray but remember to stand on the words of GOD and live by it .
GOD love you and your families; give HIM thanks and praises always. Thank You JESUS.

Thanks,
T.M.Pelekeh

These are the exact words that the Pope said (translated from italian):

""If a person is gay and seeks the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge that person?"

Instead of arguing, I will simply let his words stand and let each person judge for themselves whether they think that statement is actually condoning homosexuality or not.

God bless.

I view homosexuality as having no difference as something such as a porn addiction. Both are sexually immoral. Both separate us from God. Should we condone and encourage these actions? No, but the absolute reality is that these are two things many people have, and will struggle with on a daily basis. Does that require us to put them under the gun and condemn them? No. Jesus commandment was simply this, love the Lord your God with all heart soul and mind. What truly matters is that our eyes remain on Jesus and we follow closely to him.

Well, I will not use the word " homosexual " for this sodomite terminology implies their abominable behavior would be just another kind of sexuality.

The so called " pope " is a satanist, let's be clear about it ! So no surprise he would fully endorse the devil's work ! For he is a spawn of the devil himself and most people don't know it !
The so called " pope " is a clear antetype of the Antichrist !

I do not condone equating all sins ! All sins have not the same degree of offence before the Lord and humans ! So sodomite behavior is incommensurately more condemnable than fornication non related man-woman let's get it straight and that's why Lot wanted to offer his own daughters to sodomite people rather than sodomite people committing sodomite abomination to his male guests !
If all sins would have to be equated than the word Justice would mean nothing ! And there would be no salvation because every sinner would be considered the same as satan and his demons ! Do you understand now ?

Anyway, stay far from the " pope " and his demonic endorsements for he is an Antichrist !

Only the Lord is Lord ! And only the Word is the Word ! There is only One Truth ! The Lord's Word !

I think the confusion comes from his accepting a certain definition of 'gay.' If you think of it as a state of being, an inclination toward same sex attraction, that's one thing. If you mean someone who engages in homosexual activity, that is another. Any religious leader should be very clear when addressing the issue, especially to the press.

Of course, if you think the Lord's wisdom should not be craziness to the foolish ones,
then you could as well stop believing in the Lord's existence,
you could as well stop believing in the Lord's resurrection
and eternal salvation brought to the lost ones !
For all those things are craziness to the World !
But the foolishness of the Word is infinitely better than the wisdom of the World !

So I would not conform to the foolishness of this ancient world as many mislead Christians chose to do!

So I would conform to the foolishness of the Word so mislead people like you can call me crazy !

I was just curious... Where do you categorize men who identify themselves as heterosexual but demand to commit acts of sodomy on women?

I've known several relationships (even marriages) like that and the guys claim to be good Christian, heterosexual males.

I was just curious where the sin of sodomy fits on your scale when it's committed by a straight male whether than a gay male. And where does their level of condemnation/punishment fall?

Is the straight man more or less guilty and will he receive a lesser or greater punishment for committing sodomy on his wife instead of on another male?

As a person who has known both males and females who were subjected to such behaviors against their will, a solid classification of sin/guilt/punishment might be helpful.

And you seem to be the right person to ask.

I wonder what your definitions are. In one state, 'sodomy' refers to activities that involve either part of the alimentary canal. Are you thinking of the lower end? There are people who will argue the Song of Solomon refers to an act involving the upper end. I don't find the arguments conclusive.

The Bible says nothing about 'sodomy'. There was a law in the Old Testament against a man lying with a man as one does with a woman, but it doesn't specify which act.

The guiding principle should be to 'love thy neighbor' which precludes doing things that are harmful.

I just personally find it interesting that I see so many Christians rant and rave about homosexuals, as if they are somehow the worst of sinners... While forgetting that the things many heterosexual people engage in that are just as sinful, and, I would argue (I know some would disagree), unnatural.

I often wonder if some Christians see homosexuals as a "red herring" (distraction) from their own sins. You know... something like... "Sure, I make mistakes... BUT LOOK AT THOSE EVIL HOMOSEXUALS!!! I AM SUCH A GOOD CHRISTIAN BECAUSE I WILL NOT TOLERATE SUCH HORRIBLE SIN!!"

As if they're so pure themselves. In the process of pointing the finger at homosexuals, they somehow forget they last time they struggled with lust, tried to convince a partner to do something they didn't want to do, spent the night with someone they weren't married with, or watched something they shouldn't have watched.

It's funny... dig below the surface a bit... ask a few questions... and suddenly, they don't have as much to say.

I always wonder... why? You had so much to say before. Why not now, when asked a direct, and, what should be, for them (because they seem to know the moral way), a very simple question.

What you call ranting and raving is actually you misrepresenting Christians defending and correcting those perpetuating and those influenced by a well funded, well orchestrated, worldwide, and present Satanic-inspired direct attack on God's Word, God's people, and the lost in an ongoing spiritual war for the minds and souls of humanity.

Each generation of Christians has to grapple with these attacks. Right now the devil is getting a lot of mileage in deceiving and tempting away people into destruction via homosexual immorality/homosexual heresy.

Trained Christian apologists, like myself, clearly see it for what it is. How tragic that you do not. Instead of aligning yourself with the devil on this issue against God's emissaries, why not open your spiritual eyes to see what's happening and join God and His people in thwarting this present attack of the devil so that many escape.

It's truly done out of love and concern for people and those who escape this attack on their mind, body, and soul coming to the truth and spiritual rebirth by the Holy Spirit of God will certainly thank us in heaven for caring and loving them enough to strive for them against the devil's attack on their eternal soul.

P.S. Christian apologists are not Pharisees.

I've seen many of your posts, Age, and I know you're proud of your education and body of knowledge. Kudos to you.

As long as God can tell the difference between an Apologist and a Pharisee, that's what counts.

I know you are a very intellectual person, so I was just wondering what your opinions would be to the questions I originally posted here, seeing as none of the other Apologists bothered to answer.

I'm genuinely interested in the answer, seeing as I once had a female friend whose good, straight Christian husband had a penchant for sexual activity involving the something other than the female receptor God designed for sex. His wife persistently said no.

And so, he simply waited until she was asleep and started raping her that way.

In the scale of men who do this to men... where does the issue of men who commit this upon women fit within the legalisms of sin, punishment, and condemnation?

I would truly like to have a Christian answer to give to the women who talk to me and have gone through this, as well as to the men who consider themselves heterosexual and see nothing wrong with it.

I was just curious... Where do you categorize men who identify themselves as heterosexual but demand to commit acts of sodomy on women?
