That's life in the fast lane. Looks like a fresh kill too. But I've already had supper. Maybe there will be leftovers.

Lynx are commonly referred to as bobcats here in the USA. What we know as a bobcat is a subspecies of lynx. Though that cat cousin isn't nearly as sleek as the lynx we're accustomed to.

Lynx have short, stub-like tails. That's one reason I knew it was a bobby. :)

I can't tell from the photo if that's a canadian lynx or an american lynx with a winter coat. I've never had a coat like that so I'm assuming it's a canadian lynx. They move very smoothly considering all the fur they have to carry around.

Shoot, they move smoothly compared to almost anything except another lynx with a shorter coat.

The big paws are for walking around over snow. Same principle as snowshoes.

We southern lynx are far sleeker. But then we don't have to deal with all that snow. And that's why we's a-stayin' in da sowth, cause we don't like that much snow. Let those dudes cat around on the snow, they're built for it.

Yea that one's a lynx, but the first one's a bobcat. Look at the back leg. A lynx has a very long upper back leg compared to the lower section and the tail is very short. Also, the hairs on the ears are longer on a lynx.

Err... a bobcat is a subspecies of lynx. What you said is like saying there's a difference between a Dodge Mustang and a car, when a Dodge Mustang is a sub-set of "car."

lol. you guys are masters at derailing a thread...

advice?

I believe the Bible gave the best advice: Don't let the sun set on your anger.

Forgive each other nightly before going to sleep. don't hold grudges, talk it over and work out your problems instead of letting it build up and undermine your marriage.

Think of others and their needs before your own and marry someone whose heart is dedicated to God and His will.

Hmmm, Dodge Mustang???? Obviously feline species are not familiar with human modes of transportation. The Dodge Mustang has yet to have been built since Ford owns trademark rights to "Mustang" in reference to automobiles. ;)

It must be one of the newer model. I was a little puzzled as well. My understanding was the Dodge builds tough trucks but that Ford builds the sporty Mustang which is a pretty little filly.

I drive a minivan. My pastor is the one who knows sports cars. Whatever, Ford Mustang. Dodge makes the Charger and... something else sporty. I think.
