You know, with all the designer beers out there, I wonder if we might not see a bacon stout.

A man can dream right?
I've actually had a bacon ale. I'm trying to remember which brewery it was, but it came in one of those larger, two serving bottles (like most of Stone Brewery's stuff), and the bottle was solid pink.

It was more smokey than bacony, really. And the ale itself didn't do it for me. I think smoke flavor definitely favors something dark like a stout or porter. I've a couple of regular bottles of Stone Brewery's Smoked Vanilla Porter that I've been hanging on to for the holidays. Once I get over this stupid cold, I'll crack one open.

Well well well...

I'm NOT reformed, and I'm looking for a nice girl to arm-wrestle and argue with.

: )
You've seen me arm wrestle... right?

Praus: you mock me yet again :pPPPP
Welcome to the cool club, FW.

Praus is the one Christianchat.com member who I would love to meet in real life, just for the pleasure of kicking his behind.
I'm still not convinced that Praus isn't actually a computer-generated auto-response system.

as the daughter of a Presbyterian minister :) gotta kinda say ole Calvin was a pretty smart fella
I would still focus on the words in red :D
Calvin was just a disciple like all of us :) not a prophet or anything of the like

My pops is a more hard core Calvinist but he'd agree with me

I don't think what he said is bad though well unless he does mean only Calvinists live in truth
I think it was a more :) me wants some girl whos thinketh as thow

I would like some bacon Maxwell :) quit hogin the bacon :p

Yeah but was it made with actual bacon, or just made to have a smoky flavor.

I want actual bacon somehow involved in the process.

I see this thread's exploded.... o_O

I almost feel like I should apologize. It seems like I was the one to start the whole fiasco by asking him what his intentions were.

Earlier in the thread, I asked the dude what he was implying about people who weren't Calvinist. If he was saying those people aren't in the truth. Looking back a few hours ago, I should have left it alone and let the thread die. But I didn't.

Actually Praus is much smarter than any computer.

He's also non differentiable entity + undefined.

d/dx (tan(Praus x)) = infinity/ undefined

Differentiation is undefined at the point of tangency due to infinite slope. Hence all imaginary.

Nobody mess with him. If you know what's good for you :D

Flashbacks to my data structures classes.

Finite state machines aren't in the bible, but I'm sure there will be more than a few of them thrown into the pit.

I'm not in the cool club it would seem Grace.

Another thought I had for those that don't believe in predestination,

Why did Christ say the road to righteousness is narrow and few find it but the road to perdition is broad and many people are on it.

Who's bashing who's beliefs? I just commented. If that equates as bullying, tolerance (the word has changed its meaning) of others has gone too far in this post-modern world.
I don't think you were bullying anyone, and I agree with your definition of tolerance. I was referring to Praus for the most part, but I sensed this thread was going the wrong direction.

Because more and more, people think the road to unrighteousness looks more appealing than a life with Christ. It is due to our sinful nature. But God is loving and merciful to give them a chance to turn, and not everyone takes it. That's just a sad truth. Not everyone is going to want it. But when Jesus died, He did die for EVERYONE. So that way when the opportunity came, if they wanted to come, He would not turn them away.

In Soviet Calvinism, road finds you!
