Share your best songs of all time and why you think so. There are no wrong answers and nothing is up for debate. This is to be a fun thread with joyful sharing and insight.

My top five:

The Fifth Dimension: Aquarius. Marilyn McCoo's voice, fantastic harmonies and outstanding bass.
The Cars: Drive. The most beautiful melody of the 1980's.
U2: The Fly. A guitar solo for the ages.
Pat Benatar: One Love. One of the greatest female vocalists of all time singing about Jesus.
Band Aid: Do They Know Its Christmas. Beautiful song that literally changed people's lives.

Hard to pick one song by these guys as they had 2 amazing albums. The albums helped me a lot as a teen to get through things i was dealing with, so there is a strong emotional component, but they are also beautiful and haunting. Also one of my all time favorite singers.
Picked this song because i love the lyrics at the end, a description of heaven.

Without hate, without pain
Without suffering insane
Without death, without fire
Without lies that feed the liar
Without war, without games
Without fear to take the blame
Without fame, without power
Without drugs to heal the coward
Without violence, without rape
Without sickness, without plagues
Without judgment, without crime
Without hope, without time
Without two, without three
Without torture over belief
Bring us love
Let us see
Set us Free

Front 242 Quite Unusual I just
like the beats on this song and I have no clue what the lyrics mean
Ronan Keating She believes in me This song reminds me of my life saved by Christ and how good He has been to me and it is only His kindness that someone could love me.
The Cure Just Like Heaven This is just the best love song ever!
Brooks an Dunn There Ain't Nothing About You This song reminds me of my upbeat personality and I start jamming to it when I hear it
Willie Nelson Always on My Mind This song is just true sometimes and that we men may not show our love the way we would want to but that dosemt mean that we don't love.

This song is no more than a year old to me, but will probably stick with me for a long time. It's a weird connection i have to it, because the song is written about the singers young child, but it always reminded me of my (now ex) girlfriend that was extremely special to me.
Actually the whole album reminds me of her, since i got into it around the same time i met her, and listened to it all the time until around the time we stopped dating, but this is the song that always gets to me the most.

Hmm... I have more than 8,000 songs in my collection, all christian, all different styles, and I think they are all the best songs of all time.

How do I post it? As a list or as a series of youtube embeds?

Well here's one. I can't say it's the best of all because there are all these others that are also the best but...

1. Man In The Mirror - Michael Jackson
2. Wherever You Will Go - The Calling
3. Tale As Old As Time - Celine Dion & Peabo Bryson
4. My Immortal - Evanescence
5. Rapper's Delight - The Sugarhill Gang

I just like them because I do. Some of them for vocal talent, some of them for their meaning, some for reasons, and one just because it's fun.

I can't even begin to pick. I've listened to too much music to even narrow it down for an all time.

But here's the most epic one I been listening to for the space of time of the past week :)

I'm not at all Swedish, but wow, this is epic. Found it totally randomly in my youtube recommendations a few days ago.

I'd love to post a handful of songs here, but it's all secular and I'm trying to mind CC rules.

Some great songs you've got there though, Utah! I like your taste.
