Of course I'd have no problem dating someone who didn't have a social media account. Though I have to admit that having no way to verify that a man is who he says he is would make me cautious. One of the first red flags for a catfish or married cheater is that they tell you they don't do social media, or they have an impersonal account that doesn't include any of their family members or real-life friends. This doesn't mean they aren't for real. But it is something to watch out for.

Sorry for my english. Chef Don't often havet Facebook and all that. So maby start to date a chef. Thats not bad ether ☺ and yes. I Don't havet Facebook But i havet instagram

Thats good for us and reducing missunderstanding specially if we hv long distance relationship overseas.

I think putting social media as a dating requirement is kinda silly.. It wouldn't matter one bit if a girl never used social media, or if she had anything you could think of.

Yes, because I have a Twitter I have not used for years and dislike the increasing hatred on Facebook.

True, CC is a social networking site. My only issue with dating someone who has social media is if they're on their phone constantly checking their site/ messaging while we're out together somewhere. It's rude. Someone having social media in not a deal breaker.

I have to echo GaryA's sentiment for a few reasons, not the least of which is the NSA's and draconian governments thinking they have a right to spy on ordinary Americans. Although I have a Twitter page for business for my Christian apparel and novelty website, I don't and DO NOT create social media pages for personal reasons, therefore I would prefer a Godly woman who isn't obsessed with FB and the likes

Yeah why not? I hate those popular types of people who check their phones 24/7 and who don't focus on you while supposed to be spending time with you anyways. It's just disrespectful. Like you say if you and the person go to a Chinese restaurant... well, if you go to a restaurant together, the focus should be on each other and the food. Not on a phone, stupid people.

I don't have much social media, just facebook that I use to keep in touch with my old mates from when I was in high school
