Precious Young Men and Women of GOD,

Please understand a few things that I would like to share with you...........Yes GOD does forgive our sins, no doubt. However, the enemy tries daily to interupt our MOST IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIP on this planet. Our relationship with ABBA FATHER GOD.....

When there are multiple "partners" and these are outside of marriage, a very unusual event occurs. I don't know if you have ever heard of it, it is called SOUL TIES.........

This is the way it works...........In GENESIS where the LORD just presented EVE to ADAM, after HE woke him up from taking the rib out of him.... HE says some very ineresting things read it from GEN. 2:20............Read down to verse 24......This is where I am talking about what are called SOUL TIES......FOR THIS REASON A MAN SHALL LEAVE HIS FATHER AND MOTHER AND BE JOINED TO HIS WIFE AND THEY SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH

Extremely important here.................We are designed to marry our mate and only enjoy the "marriage bed" with our mate............that's the way it is supposed to be..........

So here's what happens...............When we have sex outside of marriage, we violate this principle of our FATHER, and here's what happens.......

WE HAVE CONNECTIONS WITH THAT PERSON THAT MUST BE SEVERED SCRIPTURALLY, OR WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE DIFFICULTIES IN OUR NEXT RELATIONSHIPS, OR MARRIAGE BECAUSE PART OF US IS STILL ONE WITH THAT PERSON..........Remember the verse........And the 2 shall be ONE FLESH.......

So our Adversary knows this, and knows the Word and FATHERS intentions and purposes for us in this world, so he tries to promote repeated sexual encounters with multiple partners for years..............Then when we stop doing that, and settle down in marriage, this is when the problems start.......The Adversary attacks our marriages BIGTIME, because of those soul ties..............his intent, obcviously is to destroy the marriage, and us in the process.......

PLEASE CHECK OUT THIS PARTICULAR MINISTRY ON THE WEB www.laughcry.org They have their lead book on ther called "LAUGH AND CRY YOUR WAY TO FREEDOM" Rev. John Chappell and his lovely wife have been helping couples and individuals get set free from the torments of SOUL TIES AND FRAGMENTATION............Which is what happens to our soul when we have been with multiple partners OUTSIDE OF MARRIAGE......

Please check this ministry out, this is very serious...............and most of Rev. Chappells teaching you can just down load..........FOR FREE............

I AM PRAYING FOR YOU..........PLEASE CHECK THIS OUT, HEY IT'S FREE............

I have news for you, SeekinHIM.....it doesn't take "multiple partners" to create a soul tie. To this day, my ex-girlfriend Michelle is the only woman I have ever been physically intimate with, and 4 years after our breakup my heart still feels connected to hers. The feelings aren't as strong as they once were, but they're still there.

a soul tie is simply a memory, there's literally no actual part of you in them or them in you. And you dont need to sleep with someone to feel this "soul tie". Biblically speaking this idea of soul ties is not found in the bible.

Dear Brother,

Just do a word search for soul...........in your concordance... there are some pretty strange things that the Bible has to say about this subject.....

AND IT IS A BIBLICAL PRINCIPLE.............HEBREWS 4:12 IS THE KEY..................IT'S DISCOVERING WHERE THE LOCK IS, THAT NEEDS OPENING,

THAT'S THE PROBLEM......WHILE IT IS TRUE THAT YOU DON'T NEED TO SLEEP WITH SOMEONE TO ESTABLISH A SOUL TIE, HOWEVER, WHEN YOU DO, THE PROBLEM IS MAGNIFIED 10 TIMES, BECAUSE INDEED THE SOULS BECOME KNIT IN A MARITAL TYPE UNION, THAT IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE...

REMEMBER THE SOUL IS COMPRISED OF 3 PARTS.......MIND WILL AND EMOTIONS......MEMORIES ARE STORED IN THE BRAIN, AND ARE ACCESSED THROUGH THE LIMBIC SYSTEM INTO THE SOUL.......SIMILAR TO A COMPUTER.

UNGODLY SOUL TIES ARE THE EXACT LEGAL ISSUE THAT SATAN USES TO TORMENT INDIVIDUALS WITH THIS PROBLEM.......

WHY WOULD GOD SPECIFICALLY PLACE THESE WORDS IN HEBREWS 4:12 THAT SPEAK ABOUT THIS ISSUE, EVEN THOUGH IT IS SOMEWHAT

COVERT..........THE REASON WHY IT IS COVERT, IS BECAUSE GOD DOESN'T REVEAL MUCH OF THE WORD TO THOSE WHO ARE NOT SEEKING HIS

HEART AS DIRECTED TO DO...... AS YOU OR ANYONE DRAWS NEARER TO HIM, HE DRAWS NEARER TO YOU..........THEN AS HE STATES IN MANY

PLACES , HE WILL REVEAL HIS SECRETS TO THOSE WHO SEEK ANSWERS......NOT EVERYTHING IS SPELLED OUT PLAIN AND SIMPLE IN SCRIPTURE

FOR A REASON..........BECAUSE GOD ONLY REVEALS THE DEEPER THINGS TO THOSE WHO SEEK HIM WITH ALL OF THEIR HEARTS....

......STRONG MEAT IS FOR THE MATURE, WHO HAVE THEIR SENSES TRAINED TO DISCERN GOOD AND EVIL...HEBREWS- 5:14

According to the Scriptures, if we have sex with someone outside of marriage we're not supposed to have a 'next relationship' but rather marry that person we had sex with (Exodus 22:16).

Precious Ashton,

Yes it does say this in the Old Testament, but remember why JESUS came................To fulfill the LAW..............Because we nor Israel could.

Now, as you read in HEBREWS, you'll discover the TRUE INTENT OF THE FATHERS HEART TO YOU AND ME AND THE REST ON PLANET EARTH.....

THIS NEW COVENANT WITH MAN FROM GOD IS BUILT ON BETTER PROMISES................GO AND READ HEBREWS, STUDY CAREFULLY, ESPECIALLY

CHAPTER 9, YOU'LL DISCOVER WHAT I AM SAYING.......NOW THIS MAY BE VERY DEEP TO YOU, SO JUST PRAY FIRST...........VERY IMPORTANT TO

DO THIS, BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T YOU'LL MISS WHAT IS BEING TAUGHT HERE..........ENJOY THE NEW COVENANT IN HIS BLOOD MY FRIEND......

Hey, Seeking. Hmm. As far as I know I've studied Paul's writings fairly well and he appears to teach us that we should observe the Old Testament rules and regulations - even Gentiles in one instance of his writings. But why look at only Paul? Jesus taught us to do the same as well. I've had discussions with other fellow Christians on this point and in the process we've used many many passages. However, I've only ended up more convinced than ever that we are to obey the Old Testament regulations and rules (including the Ten Commandments), albeit in an appropriate way.

Hey, Seekin. I know I got way off-topic on this one. So if you would like to discuss it elsewhere I'd be glad to. But this will be my last post about it here. :) When I say that fellow Christians and I discussed it at length with many passages I mean just that. I honestly don't know if we used every passage imaginable on the subject, but we sure made a dent in the theology. Galatians 5:23 simply means that the Torah does not conflict with the concepts of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self control - or - it "does not stand against these things." And it doesn't. See Leviticus 19:18. What others mistakenly interpret this passage to mean is that the Torah does not withstand them or that it tries to withstand them but can't. Even in the translation you may be quoting from I can read it two ways: "There is no law which stands in opposition to this fruit" or "No law can stand in opposition to this fruit." One comes right out and states that the law is not in opposition to the fruit of the Spirit; another simply implies that the law is trying to stand in opposition to the fruit of the Spirit - but really says nothing of the sort. At any rate, the translation I'm reading from can only be interpreted one way.

I've had people essentially call me an unbeliever or unsaved because I choose to try to follow God's laws. That seems rather backward to me, but it's just the theology they've been taught - sometimes to an extreme. I will say that I am only saved by trust in God through Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice. Works are only a product as I believe the New Covenant states.

Precious Brother,

Consider this, Paul himself warns us to tread lightly, so to speak, plainly, he says if we don't keep the whole LAW, then we are guilty of breaking the entire thing......

And I'm not sure if you ever heard this verse.............About the LAW being our " Tutor" ......As I lay these out for you, please follow the "thread" if
you will, follow the progression of GOD'S Revelation to Paul.....

ROMANS 3:20-Because by the works of the LAW, no flesh will be justified in HIS sight; for through the LAW comes knowledge of sin

Dear Brother, you seem very astute theologically, however, there is even another Scripture that portrays the FATHERS's Heart on this matter......

ROMANS 7:6- But now we have been released from the LAW having DIED to that by which we were bound so that we serve in newness of the Spirit, and not in the oldness of the LAW.....

Dear Brother, you made mention of an interesting statement above...............SOMETIMES TO AN EXTREME.........I am wondering about this, because the Word Teaches us, Out of the Heart the Mouth speaks (and writes) so, this sounds like you are STRIVING to keep the whole LAW......

This my friend in not only, not Biblical anymore, but probably very frustrating for you now...............how's that working out for you......?

Remember another Scripture......THIS ONE IS CRUCIAL TO YOUR PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH CHRIST AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.....

2 CORINTHIANS 3:6- ...Who also made us ADEQUATE as servants of a NEW COVENANT, not of the LETTER (LAW) but of the Spirit; FOR THE LETTER

KILLS, BUT THE SPIRIT GIVES LIFE.......

So, my friend, if you are frustrated at all .........This is why.....The LETTER of the LAW is killing you......Because you are STRIVING TO PLEASE GOD,

WHEN IN FACT, YOU ARE ALREADY PLEASING TO GOD BECAUSE OF JESUS' ATONING SACRIFICE FOR YOU.......If you try to keep the LAW, you, in effect say to FATHER, I DO NOT NEED CHRIST'S SACRIFICE, I CAN PLEASE YOU BY OBEYING ALL THE LAWS..............

You make CHRIST's sacrifice of no effect in your life........THIS IS THE KILLING PART OF THE LAST VERSE.............

I am praying for your FREEDOM my friend, Because Whom the SON sets Free ...............is free indeed.........

Hey, Seekin. You have some interesting ideas about the soul, but I don't know if they're Biblical. Perhaps we could take the discussion about the OT somewhere else and even talk about the soul. Again, my last post was going to be my last post on the subject here. I think there is even a difference between the spirit and the soul. Since I don't know what a spirit is (the English word has multiple definitions) or a soul it's a bit hard for me to talk about them. If you could supply Bible passages for them that'd be great.

And also as Seas has pointed out - how does one break a soul tie? If I had sex with someone who later went to hell then certainly half of me would not be thrown into hell, right? That would be contrary to the Gospel. So anyway I've got some concerns about your ideas and I know you've got some concerns about mine. Maybe we can discuss them somewhere in the Bible Study forum. Regardless, I wish you the best. I now return control of your thread to you. :D

Yes. It was very interesting to me. I looked up the passage on it, and do believe that it tells something about the nature of the soul as it fits into all of the other parts of man. However, I'm unsure. And I would like to discuss this all in the Bible Study forum if that's alright with you. :)

Hey, Seekin. From my understanding it's just the section of these Christians Forums that is delegated to studying God's Word and coming to a better understanding of it. I believe it's named "Bible Study." For example, this is the "Christian Singles Forum."

If you do start a thread in the Bible Study Forum related to this topic I may not reply right at first. I've been participating in apologetics and discussions elsewhere and believe my first priority should be to make a reply to those who have posed questions to me there. I've just been slacking off lately. :( Too much to do in real life I guess. Just feel like resting for a bit. Anyway, I should get busy again. I wish you the best God has to offer, my friend. Take it easy.
