Nod, I feel sorry that you don't have a desktop wallpaper. So I will send you a photo of myself and you can use it as your background. No need to thank me Nod, I'm a very giving person that likes to help people. We will consider that my good deed for the day!!!

Actually, I'll send you a 7 portrait package of myself, that way you can have a different picture of me on your screen each day of the week.

Looks like Christmas hasn't ended yet for you, Nod - lol.

Follow the picture...and then click in the top box on the screen that pops up. Choose the picture that you want and click ok. Then click upload to the right of the box. Once it uploads then click close at the very bottom of the window.
okay so I hope this worked...this background I made from a pic I googled and some lyrics from a song I like (My Jesus - Leeland)

Nod, that would be awesome to hear you sing 24 hours a day about an elderly homicide perpetrated by a callous Santa and his thuggish reindeer (I actually heard they knocked her off because she owed them $2,000,000 in gambling debts! During the year Santa is a bookie for illegal reindeer races, and grandma didn't choose wisely!!!).

Can you send your cd's as overnight-express Nod? I will need them to help me fall asleep at night!!!

I think you have to be a subscriber here in order to do that.

Hmm... I don't think the person who sent me a picture in a link was a subscriber, but don't quote me on that, lol.

Hey maybe you can tell me how to post a picture in a pm box! I tried posting a link from a website to get a picture by itself to come up and I get nothing! I have tried it four times.
If you mean a PM box on the forum, just click the little icon I have circled in the picture below. Then put the web address to your picture there. You can hit the "preview" button before you actually send PM to make sure it works. Not all places will allow you to link to an image from their site though.

Mine is a brilliant painting entitled "The Second Awakening (or the Vulcan conquest of Rivendell)"

It takes during one of Rivendell's beautiful twilight scenes. The Starship T'Pau is seen hovering in the distance while Surak and Elrond convene in a philosophical dialogue within the gazebo-like structure overlooking Rivendell's picturesque waterfall. It is a scene one could only compare to ancient Athens in both beauty and level of action within thought.

As a result of Surak's most assured victory via use of kolinahr (applied logic), we see elves cropping their hair short and beating their swords into enchanted tricorders and phasers. Saruman falls to Sarek's nerve pinch. Spock is seen in a mind meld with Aragorn. Lt. Saavik warns Galadriel that Spock is about to go through pon farr to which we see both dismay and confusion in Galadriel's eyes as Saavik has yet to explain what pon farr is, but her cautionary tone indicates that it may not be entirely pleasant for Galadriel to witness.

If you look closely at the top, left-hand portion of the painting you can make out a Constitution Class Starship (refit) that we can only suspect is the Enterprise swooping in to enforce the Prime Directive. Photon torpedoes armed in case of intervention on the part of eagles or Ringwraiths on Fellbeasts.

And now I'm concerned that I have clearly defined myself as the most boring cc'er. Hmmm
Aw, but that pic leaves so much to the imagination. I mean, you can pretend it's covering photos of Narnia, that you are seeing the depths of the sea, or that the stars refuse to shine at night, that night.

Autumn leaves..... I know Autumn ended about 4 months ago, but I like the colors. Nothing deep or humorous, just..... leaves. Don't judge me. :p
